She grinned cheekily at him, seemingly enjoying his embarrassment. "It'll be wild," she teased. "Intense."
Her laughter was warm and light and she raised one eyebrow innocently. "What? Warner, I'm just talking about the one-on-one time we'll partake in later. Just like I promised."
There was a small pause as she considered him, her eyes narrowed, but her expression softened and he would feel her gently kiss the palm of his hand.
"I'm a bold girl," she repeated nonchalantly, resting her head on her hand. "But you already knew that, didn't you?"
"I'd kiss you again in an instant," she said quietly before shrugging with mock despair. "But I suppose it can't be."
