She pulled out one of his sweaters, turning to look at him. "Hey, Warns," she said gently, coming back over to him. "Did you sleep well?"
“I think so. I don’t remember any bad dreams,” she said distractedly, sitting on the edge of the bed and slipping off her shirt.
She slipped on his sweater, pulling her hair out from under the collar before lying back down next to him.
She frowned, lying back in the pillows, looking like she might have been pouting a little. "Really? Why?"
She squinted at him momentarily before sitting up, kissing his cheek with a sense of resignation. "I guess that's fair," she allowed, playfulness creeping into her voice. "I should probably get some more practice done anyway."
"Fine," she said with a shrug, standing up and pulling her hair back. "What do I care? I like to be abandoned."
She laughed brightly, coming over to him and kissing him gently. "I'm kidding. I love you. I'm going to head out, okay?"
