"I can't feel your pain, so no." Warner was in his room, standing in front of the mirror. He held up his shirt with his teeth as he bandaged something on his waist.
He blinked, looking over in surprised before speaking, his voice a bit muffled. "Oh, hey Addie. Don't worry. Nuffing too bad."
In her bewildered state, he might as well have had a knife sticking out of his throat. Her hands were shaking as they covered her open mouth and she came over to him unsteadily. "What... what happened to you?"
She looked upset, tracing his skin with the tips of her fingers. “Oh, Warns,” she said sorrowfully. “Did it hurt?”
She didn’t seem to notice his question, her fingers tracing the bandage worriedly. “Sariel, can you heal him?”
