The Upside Down (For Eluuna)

She didn't notice at first, her eyes darting around them as they walked.

"We should go somewhere after all this is over," she said thoughtfully, turning to look at him. "Somewhere not..." She paused when she noticed his gaze on her. "What is it?"

 

She flushed deeply, looking embarrassed.

"Oh, *squee!*."

 

"This is a problem, because I really want to make out with you right now," she explained quietly as they entered the cafe. "But we're in a public setting."

 

"You're so cute," she muttered under her breath. "Jesus."

 

"Don't do this to me," she said with a frown. "Let me do this."

 

She huffed slightly, kissing his cheek.

"This is annoying."

 

She rolled her eyes before ordering a vanilla latte.

"What about you, Warns?"

 

She rolled her eyes before ordering it for him, and they went to sit down.

"Have you never had nice coffee before?"

 

She exhaled slowly, resting her head on her hand and watching him affectionately.

"You're so *squee!*ing cute."

 

"You are," she said, reaching across the table to squeeze his hand.
