She frowned, summoning a dark orb in her right hand as she waited. The space around the dark orb seemed to bend towards the middle, hungrily being consumed by the vacuum of the black hole.
He sighed lowly, before raising his hands. The sheer force of the power created a thunder sound a black cloud of void was created. It grew in size before he changed stances, the power barreling towards her, much larger than her or even Zad.
It came so quickly and so suddenly that she didn’t stand a chance. The dark void consumed her, surrounding her completely.
It was rather painful, the darkness surrounding her. It didn't last long, clearing away and sending her back into the open.
She shuddered slightly, having been tossed back out onto the ground. Her white hair covered her face as she supported herself with her arm, taking a moment before looking up at Zad. There was a small silence. “Can you do that again?” she croaked, studying him intensely.
He looked down at his hands before closing them, the cloud disappearing. "No.. Something different this time." Instead, spear like shapes formed above, coming crashing down.
She pierced the energy shield. The wave felt almost endless as they attacked and disappeared at impact.
She watched Zad from inside the field before looking back up at the spears, pouring her energy into repairing it. The ground under his feet grew suddenly, pulling his legs into the ear hastily and angrily.
He would suddenly feel an incessant presence in his brain and if he looked, he would see Addie’s eyes wide as she focused on him. It wasn’t an unkind presence, but stubborn and not his own. It began leafing through his thoughts, faster and faster and images began to pop inside of his mind’s eye until stopping upon the haunting image of girl with dark hair. The presence studied the image, surrounding it.
This seemed to greatly upset him as the spears completely poured down, shattering the shield. They didn't physically pierce her, but she could still feel the sharp pain that accompanied it.
She cried out as she fell to the ground, curling up in pain. The presence in his brain withered and tried to retreat feebly, attempting to make a swift exit without being attacked in his head.
