She was quiet for a moment, sitting down a few feet away from him on the floor. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t... I didn’t mean for this to happen.”
She looked confused for a moment. “You... brought this upon me? Zad, I’m just annoying. Everyone I meet wants to beat me up. You aren’t special in that regard.”
She frowned, scooting over to him and rubbing his back tentatively. “I asked you to. It’s not your fault.”
She frowned, gently coming to the front of him so he could see her moves without startling him. There was a small pause before she laid down next to him and hugged him gently. “I would never see you as weak. Don’t ever worry about that.”
“I didn’t mean to look for personal stuff,” she said quietly, her head on his chest. “I just wanted to know what you were going to do next before you did it. I don’t know how I did it.”
She closed her eyes, her brow furrowing. “Could you teach me how to make that fog?” she asked after a moment.
