She fell silent for a moment, considering him. "I believe it," she said after a moment. "I believe that I don't deserve you." She took a deep breath, folding her hands in her lap. "It's been a... a really long time since someone has loved me, Warner. It's been a long, long time. And last night, you know... you picked me up and you held me, and you rubbed my back and you didn't want me to leave and... You're so wonderful and loving, Warns and I just... I don't think I know how to handle it. My world doesn't have all that."
He took her hands, his brows furrowed. "That doesn't make you unworthy," he replied. "That doesn't make you unworthy. I think you're worthy and I want to love you and to hold you and I will. I will because I think you deserve it."
At his words, her eyes filled with tears and she watched him for a moment before she laughed tremulously, tears slipping past her eyelashes. "I love you so much."
“I probably should get back to training,” she said reluctantly. “I think I had a breakthrough last night, but I gotta rest it.”
