He grinned, kissing her forehead. "Yes, unfortunately. Uninterrupted sleep."
“That seems wasteful,” she said thoughtfully, kissing his cheek. “But I see your point.”
He sighed. "Just sleep, alright?"
“For how long? Zad will be cross with me.”
"Zad will be just fine.. Trust me, alright?"
She frowned, still reluctant, but rubbing his back slowly. “Okay.”
He laid back. "Then you can practice.'
She planted a small kiss on his sternum before lying next to him again, her head on his chest.
He ran his fingers through her hair, relaxing.
She fell asleep almost instantly, perhaps tired from the previous night's stresses.
He drifted off into a light sleep after her.

After a couple hours, she woke and started getting ready to go.
Warner sat up sleepily. "You leaving..?"
She looked down at him affectionately. "Yeah, sweetie. I gotta go. For real, this time."
He stood, kissing her cheek. "I'll see you."
She kissed the tip of his nose. "I'll see you. I love you."
He nodded. "I love you too."
She headed towards the door and left, closing it behind her.
