Her fingers curled in the air and she tilted her head curiously as she explored her brain. Shadow was in a different section than elemental. Less visceral and more calculated. She sat alone in a room. Somewhere else in her mind, music played, but even if she focused, she would not be able to name the song or even the genre of the tune. It was more the idea of music and somewhere else, this bothered her. In this section, though, she only had one focus. The churning amorphous matter in front of her was not particularly benevolent and it snapped at her as she moved her hands towards it. "None of that," she scorned, frowning slightly. "Hush, now. Let me do this."
The shadow hissed, but began to cooperate, lacing through her fingers as she worked with the amorphous matter.
It ruffled its wings, tilting its head as it watched him sharply. “What do I do now?” Addie asked, sounding as if she were in a dream.
