"Wow. I almost feel bad," he teased.
"I bullied him mercilessly," she reassured him, reaching out for him expectantly.
He went to her with a grin, kissing her cheek. "We should go out somewhere."
"Oh?" she asked curiously, tilting her head. "Where?"
He shrugged, standing up and offering his hand. "Somewhere in the city?"
She took it, standing up and giving him a quick peck. "Alright. Give me a second to wash my face."
He grinned. "Great."
She went into the bathroom and turned on the sink, returning in about three minutes.
He was waiting patiently. "Ready?"
"Born ready," she said, reaching for his hand.
He took it, leading her out with a smile. "Would you rather take Ker or walk?"
"Ker," she replied immediately. "Always."
He nodded, going to the stable.
She followed, squeezing his hand affectionately.
He kissed her cheek. "I love you."
"I love you too!" she replied, looking over at him. "What are we doing?"
He shrugged. "Just going out to the city to do whatever we want."
"A night on the town?"
"Exactly," he said warmly.
"Hm. You're smart, Warns."
