He tilted his head. "Why do you say that?"
"I don't know," she said with a shrug, kissing his cheek. "You just are."
He gave her a small smile, opening the barn door. "Well, thank you."
She kissed his cheek, obviously excited for the night as they entered. "You're welcome."
He got to Ker, bringing him into the field. "Ready?"
"Born ready," she replied cheekily.
He got up and offered his hand.
She took it, slinging up behind him and wrapping her arms around his waist.
He patted Ker and they took off into the sky.
"Ker likes me more, you know."
He looked back. "How do you figure?"
"I just know," she replied cheekily, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Sounds fake to me," he decided.
"Would I lie to you? Warner, I love you."
"Apparently you love Ker more."
"Oh, baby, no," she protested. "Not even."
"It's true."
"Do I need to prove it?"
He raised an eyebrow. "Maybe.."
"Fine. Later," she muttered.
