The Upside Down (For Eluuna)

She relaxed, her free hand coming up to cup his jaw.

“I think we do too.”

 

She grinned at him, her green eyes studying him intensely.

"I love you too, Warner Williams."

 

"A book on magic, but it's not really helpful," she said, resting her head on his shoulder.

 

She paused for a moment before cupping his jaw with one hand.

"Want to go dancing?"

 

"Yeah, seeing as you were so upset that we didn't get to go dancing at the ball."

 

She brightened, straightening up and looking at him.

"Really?"

 

She took it, standing up and kissing him.

 

"Yeah. I'm so excited, Warns. I could teach you how to twerk!"

 

"It's like..." She looked around for a moment before taking his hand and leading him to a more secluded part of the store before demonstrating quickly.

"I don't really have a butt, but it's something like that."

 

"Yes, well," she said, looking a little flustered. "They do if they have a butt. I learned how to do the Charleston for a dance credit in college, though. Maybe that's more your style."
