He looked confused, shaking his head and opening his mouth to speak before another rumble shook the world, bigger than before. He looked bewildered when it stopped. "Another one? This is just unnatural.."
He shook his head. "I have no idea. I'm sure Zadkiel will-" He was cut off when the demon himself appeared out of thin air in the room. He was quiet, taking in the mere sight of Warner's living space. The pause ended before he spoke. "A falling star, Warner. It's caused by a fallen star. In fact, the Queen has sought council with me and few others. I would appreciate if you and Adeline would come along so we could solve these problems."
Adeline, for her part, was extremely startled when Zadkiel appeared. "Holy *squee!*! Where did you come from?"
Warner frowned. "I told you he does that. It's annoying," he said pointedly before pausing. "And also rude. Very rude." "Apologies."
He crossed his arms. "With everything that's been happening, you coming here without cause or reason and now a falling star could be related in some way. The Queen may know something about this and there may be something in her own personal libraries."
"Mm. I suppose. Have you heard of Persephone? She's more like that. However, time is of the essence. Please, take my hand and I will transport us there." He held out his hand, which was unlike a humans. Warner did so, frowning. "I hate teleporting."
She squinted at Zad for a second. "Zaddy, you could destroy Earth in a moment, but you need to hold hands to teleport?"
She laughed slightly, raising an eyebrow. "I'm just surprised you're not powerful enough to teleport without holding hands. Fine. Let's just go, then." She offered a hand.
His hand was surprisingly warm. Warmer than a normal human body. "I'll have you know, I only hold hands when transporting multiple people." He paused. "Wouldn't want them fusing together on accident now, would we?" After that everything went black, almost like fainting. They would reappear in a grand hall bathed in golden light, red curtains and carpeting makin the marble walls seem even more luxurious. Upon entering, she would feel dizzy from the power.
"How dare you assume that I wouldn't want to be a product of an accidental fusing with either you or Warren? You can teleport and..." She trailed off and gestured at Warner. "I mean, look at that face."
