Zad seemed surprised. "I don't know.." The queen interrupted, lifting her veil in surprise as well, revealing that she was rather beautiful, her skin seemed monochrome, with skin the color of porcelain and wide, gray eyes. "Let her try." She paused. "Adeline, please be careful."
She stood, taking a few steps. Her gait was gentle and smooth as she seemed to almost glide across the floor. She approached Addy, tracing a door in the air before it appeared. "Try this door. We will be here."
She would be standing in the hallway in front of the door that led to the room. As she went through the door she passed would disappear behind her.
Once she opened the door to his room, he would only react slightly, looking around blindly. His wings raised slightly. "H-Hello?" he croaked, his voice rough. "Get back.."
Adeline hesitated for a moment before speaking. "...*squee!*, dude. What happened to you? Are you okay?"
She frowned, tilting her head and leaning against the wall. “What... what does it matter to me? That’s kind of a weird question. You take care of people when they’re hurt. You make sure they’re okay. That’s just what you do.”
She sighed a little. “That’s just what you do, my dude. You take care of people. I have no reason to hurt you. To be quite honest, I have no idea who or what you are.”
He was quiet, as if feeling the air. "It's you," he said suddenly, his voice quiet. "I can feel it. The one that was picked?"
He stood shakily, facing her direction. "You were picked. Everything is all upside down. You'll help fix it."
She pursed her lips, raising an eyebrow. "You're going to have to elaborate, my dude," she said flatly.
"The reason you're here," he said, taking a step before whimpering at aching legs and sitting again. "To help. It's not right up there. They're killing angels."
Her brows furrowed and she was silent for a moment. "I'm going to come over to you, okay? Don't... I don't know what angels do when they're freaked out, but don't attack or whatever."
