He nodded his head slowly. "Very good."
She extinguished the flame. "Aren't you proud?"
He nodded. "I am."
She beamed before looking over at Warner. "What next?"
He shrugged. "I dunno how to teach the others."
She pursed her lips. "Zaddy? What do I do?"
He tilted his head. "It's late. I can teach you tomorrow."
"But... don't I have to go back to the Palace tomorrow?"
"I meant after."
"Ughh. I told Warner this too. I'm going to die at the Palace tomorrow."
"Why are you going to die?"
"Because I'm terribly unprepared."
"You know you're not fightining tomorrow, right?"
"That's what they all say."
"I'm serious. You're just helping the angel."
She frowned, folding her arms. "Okay. If you say so."
"Don't worry over nothing. You'll see."
"Right. I'm, uh... I'm going to head to my room for a while, okay?"
"Okay, Adeline. Get some sleep."
"Great. Bye Zaddy, Warner."
