Charlie was suprised by the sudden hug, "Oh umm no problem." she then answered Bryz question. "We saw a red light and I'm not sure if it's good or bad." Charlie pointed to the sky where she saw the red beam.
Dusk released her, "It's very bad. And it's my fault." He said flatly. "But we should really be getting out of here, before it takes effect."
Suddenly, a massive zombie pony jumped at them. It was 5 times bigger than a normal one, and a lot more aggressive. "Everypony! Run!" Dusk yelled, punching it in the face. It only grew angrier, and charged at Charlie and Yuri. Dusk rushed in, standing in front of it. "I don't bucking think so, you abomination." He growled.
Dusk lit the Mollie, and shoved it into the monster's mouth. "Nopony hurts the ones I love!" He yelled. It exploded, with force, because he'd also rammed a grenade down the beast's throat. All the others could see was a smoking black form. Then... nothing but dust remained.
Dusk, as if on cue, came stumbling out of the dust, "Hey, *cough* *cough*, how are you guys?" He smiled, then collapsed, unconscious. His arm was blown clean off, and he was bleeding badly.
"Bryz... can you... make me... a... new arm?" Dusk asked, losing a lot of blood. "Dad! I-I'll make it, I promise!" Yuri cried, and turned to Bryz, "Do you have any scrap metal or like, a steam gauge assembly? I need parts, please everypony!"
"I have some of what's needed, but most of it's not suitable, & I had a mechanic friend in north Ponyville, follow me, there should be priced there", Bryz said, & hustled northern, while trying to stop the bleeding.
Yuri carried Charlie on her back, since her leg was broken, and despite her protests. A massive zombie pony watched them go, growling to itself.
"Well, here we are.",Bryz said standing in a pile of rubble, with tools & scrap metal everywhere,"Yuri, are you gonna want help making the fore leg, or not?"
Bryz started collecting pieces of metal, & tools, then took some paper & pen, and sketched some quick instructions,"build, following these papers.", Bryz told yuri, then went back to collecting things for the leg
Yuri followed the directions as best as she could, but the leg turned out to be even better than expected. "I need more scrap metal and some wire!" She called out.
Bryz brings back some wires, metal, & tools,"wow, that's pretty good, yuri, didn't know you were a builder."
Yuri blushed at the praise, "I-I just tried to follow your instructions... th-that's all..." She and Bryz connected the nerves to Dusk's new arm and finished patching him up. After they were done, Yuri approached Bryz, away from everypony else. "Th-thank you, Bryz... for saving my father's life... thank you so much..." Yuri leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.
Charlie stood to the side patrolling around them making sure no more zombies show up. "How you feeling Dusk?"
