"Um c-could you come and perform for my father? He's a big fan, though he doesn't show it... it's his birthday the day after tomorrow... so, if you don't mind, could you come to our house?" Yuri was almost cowering from all the looks of awe and hearts were nearly bursting out of their owner's chests, some even called out to her, calling her 'gorgeous', and 'good-looking'. Yuri never thought she was beautiful in the slightest, though.
Charlie nodded, "I would love to." she looked at all the ponies that were staring and moved slightly to the side to escape thier gazes at Yuri. Charlie placed her cloak on and placed the hood over her head to avid any problems.
"Well, it was nice meetin' all of you, but I should probably get back on the road, thanks for the stay.", Bryz said as she stood up and started to slowly swagger away
(Sorry, but i had to sleep and stuff) Esy took a good luck at everypony around before going back to beeing bored.
Yuri asked Charlie to meet her in the Everfree Forest in two days, and left towards home. --- When she arrived, Dusk was there, angrily staring at her. Yuri cowered in fear when their eyes met, "I-I'm sorry dad... I'm really sorry..." She hung her head in shame. Dusk couldn't bring himself to hit her, as he would have for anypony else's punishment, so he lowered his hoof, and sent her to her room. Dusk went in the Armory an climbed the ladder to the lookout's post. He sat there and softly hummed a tune from one of Charlie's performances, to calm himself down.
Vergil walked through Everfree forest, his sword in it's sheathe. He walked into his house, and walked onto the porch with a cup of tea to watch the sunset.
Charlie stood still while everypony talked around her, she adjusted her hood on more trying hard not to get detected. She left the meeting spot and walked down the street away from the crowd, she walked up her stairs and entered her house before she was detected. Taking her hood off she made her way to her kitchen to grab a cup of tea.
Dusk watched the stars finish coming out, but something was wrong. A bright light shot up from the horizon, and headed straight for Ponyville. A second one headed for Canterlot. The Canterlot one impacted, and an enormous mushroom cloud rose from the crumbling ruins. Sirens began wailing, then Ponyville was hit, and everything went dark.
Dusk set the bases' siren to Fallout Mode, and it's wail reached everypony's ears. Dusk rushed to Yuri's room, but she wasn't there. --- When Ponyville was hit, Yuri was just walking past Charlie's house and noticed her go in there. She was knocked unconscious by a section of Charlie's roofing, and lay a few meters in front if her house. None of her neighbors' houses survived, nor did her neighbors. she was the lone survivor from Ponyville. All of Equestria was now in ruins, and the few survivors that were left were now living a horrid nightmare.
Charlie regain consciousnesses, her leg throbbing with pain. She slowly got up keeping as much weight off her back leg as she could, her tea was everywhere and the china teacup was shattered into many pieces. 'What happened?" she rubbed the temple of her head. She finally stood and walked only a few feet till she collapsed again from her broken leg.
Dusk ran through the base, "YURI!! YURI!!! WHERE THE BUCK ARE YOU!!!" Dusk tripped and slammed into a wall, and lay there dazed.
Bryz sees a pony hit a wall as she got to the sirens, went over to him, & asked said pony,"are you okay?"
Charlie managed to limp out of her home and onto the street, she found the mare from earlier and Charlie could just leave her there. She checked the mare's pulse making sure she was still alive and when she did she put the mare on her back. She sent a message to Dusk, 'I have a mare and my back leg is broken i need help' she double checked the massage making sure she has it right then sent it. Moment later Dusk got the message.
Dusk checked his message, then looked at Bryz. "I gotta go, Charlie needs me! Can you gather up the survivors and bring them to the lower levels? There's medical equipment in the locker over there, if you need it." With that, Dusk took off toward Ponyville. --- Yuri woke up next to Charlie, and tried to jump away, but she was badly injured and couldn't move very well. "Thanks... for helping me..."
"its alright." Charlie slowly limp to the center of town, the weight of another pony and her broken leg didn't help her any at all. She hummed one of her newest songs trying to ignore the pain.
