Charlie sighed as she watched Dusk disappeared. She sat by the elevator door leaning against the wall, she closed her eyes and got lost in her thought.
Dusk came back down about an hour and a half later. He looked as if he'd been drinking heavily. "Hey," He said quietly when he found Charlie. Yuri gave Bryz a slight smile, followed by a kiss, "Yeah... I guess you're right..." Yuri blushed and leaned against her.
Vergil spoke into the speakers interrupting Bryz and Yuri "Sorry to cut this adorable moment between you lovebirds short. But we kind of still have a situation on our hands" (Vergil blocked!)
"Dusk. You ok?" Charlie snapped out if her thoughts and eyed Dusk curiously. He did look a bit different.
Dusk turned to his commlink, and issued an order to the ship: "Commence bio-cleansing of the surrounding areas, anti-matter rounds are authorized." Within minutes, the enemy dropships had flown away, leaving only corpses everywhere. Then, Dusk turned to Charlie, "Yeah, I'm just a little... angry..." He sighed, "I wasn't there to protect her, and I showed her my darker side, the one nobody should have to know..." Yuri smiled, and blushed fiercely, "Thanks Bryz... you're the best..."
"We have 5 minutes till launch, and the horde outside is getting pretty violent, we need someone to arm the ships turrets."
"What other chose did you have?" Charlie stood up fully now. "I think she would perfer to see how you really are more then to go through what she did. She still loves you, she is your daughter."
Bryz replies to yuri,"in a world that you don't exist.", the said,"c'mon", and walker towards the side turrets
Dusk smiled, "C'mon..." He said, slightly blushing, "I'm going to need a captain, so we can fly this thing outta here." Dusk brought her to the command bridge, and took her to the captain's chair. Yuri giggled at the comment, and followed Bryz to Artillery Chamber 5.
Yuri commed Dusk, "Dad? There's a blockage in the coolant ducts, how do I clean it out?" "Grab a depleted uranium rod, and hold it close to the blockage, but wear the gloves first!" Dusk replied. She did as she was told, and accessed the auto-turret mainframe. It was written in a strange language, one that Yuri couldn't understand. "Bryz, can you read this?" Yuri asked.
Charlie spinned in the captains chair "I have no idea how to fly this thing you know." She pointed out.
"Well, some is better than none, can you find the activation codes?" Yuri asked. "Be careful, if you get one wrong 3 times, a lethal injection will be shot into you..." Her voice trailed off as she tried a code. <ERROR, WRONG CODE> Yuri received an awful shock, and she yelped in pain. "Sorry, sweetie! But you know how gramps was..." Dusk commed. Their only hint was "Love"... Dusk turned to her, and smiled, "And what makes you think I do?" He laughed, and went to the co-captain's seat. "Alright, thrusters are at 100%, weapons systems are on standby, and gravi-lifts are active. Awaiting your orders, Captain," Dusk grinned at her.
Bryz tries, & fails, gets shocked, but doesn't affect her,"uhh, uhh, one try, dusk, is there any way you can help!?!"
"Umm.. what? Speak English please." Charlie made a few spins in the chair before looking at the controls before her
Dusk laughed, "Hang on, I gotta keep my girls alive," He checked the records and ran every possible password I. The database, none of which worked. Dusk smacked himself, "Buck..." The passcodes were in a timed lock-out configuration, and it would take too long for him to reach it. Clamps grabbed Yuri's arms and legs, holding them tight. "Uh... Dad? A little h-help? Please?" She looked to Bryz as the needle grew closer to her neck, "Quick! Try "Midnight"! That was Mom's name!"
