The bitter cold nipped at Charlie's bone waking her up after smacking her head on something. "Stupid ship!!!" She uttered. She kicked the wall frustrated at nearly slipped from a patch of ice. "Looks like my only options is freezing to death.."
Vergil suddenly fell to the ground mid hike. --- "Hello Vergil.", an all too familiar voice called out. "Luna? No! You banished me from the dream realm! Why are you bringing me back!?" "I just wanted to show you the truth Vergil." Vergil turned around. Only to see a flashback of the worst day of his life. His brother, fighting off changeling after changeling. And then he saw it. A changeling jumped on to his brother and bit his neck. Time froze around him. "Take a closer look at the changeling who bit him.", Vergil walked up and saw.... Snow. --- "Wake up, Vergil!", Beatrice was shaking Vergil Vergil awokened. "We need to find Snow." Beatrice shook her head and asked why "So I can give her the slowest, most painful death, a stallion could give."
(O-O Aw, hells naw! Nice twist btw) All of a sudden, a young mare appeared out of no where a ways away from Vergil and Beatrice, carrying a massive sword on her back, roughly three times longer than she was. As she drew nearer, they could make out a horn and wings coming from her tan body. She was wrapped in brown robes, covering her effectively, save for her head. She had brilliant, slitted red eyes and a long brown mane, tied in a pony-tail fashion. Her tail was similar, but was tied near the end. Yuri tried to stand, but fell immediately to the ground. "Ow... Bryz, are you alright?" She whimpered softly. Yuri looked around, and tried to stand again. Soft crying echoed quite a distance away. Snow was waiting for Charlie a few dozen feet ahead, "Hey... you alright?" She asked, sadness in her voice. "I'm sorry we have to be stuck together, and if you just want to leave me here, I understand. But you don't know this terrain like I do, so can we please just put the past behind us, and work together?" Snow draped a arctic survival suit over her, and it quickly latched itself together. "You can't go back to Dusk frozen..." She whispered, already in her own. Warmth filled their bodies, and rejuvenated their spirits.
Charlie stood aways from Snow keeping a much needed distance away. "Ill be dead if I left you here." She snapped. Charlie walked ahead nit even knowing where she was heading, she just wanted to find the others.
"Yeah... c-can you help me up? I want to find out who's crying..." Yuri whimpered, a few tears falling from her beautiful eyes. Snow shook her head, "Well, if you keep that up, you won't be alive for much longer..." She grumbled under her breath. A figure in the distance came walking towards them. The figure appeared to be holding a weapon, and walking towards them quickly.
Charlie slowly took out her switch blade er eyes locked on the hood figure. "Get behind me.." she said to Snow.
Yuri shook her head, but fell down again, "Y-yeah... I think so..." Snow stared at Charlie, "What is with you? You get angry when I'm around Dusk, you flat-out hate me, and now you're trying to protect me?" The figure drew closer, pulling a large crossbow off its back. The figure appeared to be a mare, but moved like a stallion.
"Sorry if I wanna keep my hide!" Charlie snapped still watching the figure. "If I go back to Dusk without you Celestia only knows what else he'll hold to my throat!"
Soon they arrived at the source, a small indigo filly. "A-are you my mommy?" She whimpered, staring straight at Yuri. "N-no... but we'll take care of you anyways... we could be like mommies..." Yuri said without thinking. "Mommy!" The filly jumped up and clung to Bryz's legs. "My name's Flare, what's yours?" "He didn't mean that, you idiot! He was scared and angry! I've seen his eyes, Charlie... he's in love with you, can't you tell!?" Snow yelled at her, the figure was right beside them. "Um... e-excuse me? I couldn't help but notice you two." He said, removing his hood. Long black, straight hair flowed out, covering part of his alabaster face. Two devilish yellow eyes stared at them.
Bryz hugged the filly, & said,"nice to meet you flare, I'm Bryz.", trying to make herself not shock the filly badly
Flare giggled at the shocks, "That tickles!" Yuri slowly climbed down, managing to stand. "I'm Yuri, it's a pleasure to meet you, Flare." She nuzzled both Flare's and Bryz's cheek.
"Ya..? Well we noticed the weapon you have there." Charlie ignored Snow and pointed to the weapon in the strangers hoof. "I don't know who you are but I appreciate if you put that away." She said coldly.
"There are... demons out here... giant insectoid things..." He shook his head, clearing his head of bad memories. "My name's Grim, and it's a pleasure, as well as an honor to meet such beautiful mares like yourselves. So, if you don't mind, will you follow me to my home?" He said, smiling faintly. He seemed quite depressed, as well as... lonely... A low, familiar roar shook the ship remains violently, "I-I think we should get out of here..." Yuri said, as Flare climbed on her back, terrified. "I wonder what Dad will think when he finds out he's a granddad?" Yuri giggled, nuzzling and kissing Bryz.
Charlie cleared her throat, "a mare" she pointed to herself then to Snow "and a changeling." She said sharply then continued, "I'm Charlie." she held her hoof out.
(Yes, Grim is in fact my user OC. If I can, I'll upload the pic I drew of him sometime) Grim eyed her, "*Sigh* Let me guess, Royal Wedding incident?" When Charlie nodded, Grim just shook his head, "Look, I lost everyone I had ever known and loved during that tragedy, but I quickly learned to forgive and move on. You two need to do the same, or you'll never accomplish anything. And she's a Changeling mare, Charlie." He shook her hoof, and Snow gave him a shy kiss on the cheek, as a formality. "I'm Snow, it's nice to meet a guy who didn't judge me at first glance..." Grim smiled, "You're welcome. I was saved by a Changeling mare who gave her life to protect me from her own kin." Grim said quietly, kissing her back. "Come in, the door's this way." Yuri narrowly dodged a giant, black, disgusting, organic mass running past like a gorilla. "Uh, l-let's go... now..."
