Charlie pushed away, "don't touch me." She said sadly. She laid in the snow feeling weak and a lack of air with her head turned away. She just really wanted to be left alone in the bitter cold.
' Snow whimpered, and laid down next to her, "I'm sorry... I-I was just happy to see you... that's all..." She didn't notice how much colder it had gotten, and that Charlie was slowly freezing to death. "Are you alright? Charlie?" Snow asked, moving closer, worried. Yuri kissed Bryz again, "Hey, that's cool!" She giggled.
Charlie backed up refusing to get close, "I'm fine." Her voice almost gone. She huddled more in the coat, the winter air getting more snippy.
Snow noticed that her Thermal Unit was gone. A massive creature was coming up behind them from under the snow, slowly and silently, unable to be heard. "Charlie! Y-your Thermal Pack's missing!" Snow took off her own pack and attached it to Charlie. "There, now you'll be warmer... and no, I won't take it back." She softly kissed her cheek, looking very tired, and seemed to be in quite a bit of pain. Yuri nuzzled Bryz's cheek, and shifted Flare around on her back. "Hey, Bryz? When we have a moment to rest, I'd like to ask you something personal... if you don't mind." Yuri smiled shyly, and blushed, stepping out of their little corner.
Charlie wiped the kiss off and tore the pack off as well. "I don't want it!" She said coldly. Charlie moved farther away closer to the unknown monster behind her.
Snow wobbled, and cried out to Charlie, "B-behind you!" She cried, and collapsed to the ground. The massive mutant creature resembled a giant millipede, but it was much more disturbing looking. It roared at Charlie, and snapped at her. Through the blizzard, Charlie could see a small cave, just big enough for two ponies to fit through. The beast drew closer, slashing at snapping its massive jaws at Charlie, then it went for Snow's dying body. It was about 50 feet away, closing fast, "Charlie... help me... please..." Snow begged softly. This was Charlie's chance to end the life of something she despises... now she must make a choice: Go back, and likely die, being a hero. Or, she could watch the first friend Dusk ever had get ripped to pieces. Yuri blushed, "I-I can't... it's too personal... I'm sorry..."
(Oh come on>_<) Charlie kicked it into high gear grabbing Snow and dodging into the gave. She laid Snow down with as much kindness she could muster up, "this means nothing!" She snarled.
(Grim: 1 Charlie:... 59!?!?) Snow leaned on the wall next to her, a put her hoof over her mouth when she coughed. Her hoof now had blood covering it and Snow felt a terrible pain in her heart, "... Sorry..." She whispered as a single tear slid down her cheek. That single tear of gratitude shimmered with a golden light, but was quickly dulled when it hit the floor. "Thank you... thank you so much for saving my life..." Yuri found a secluded corner and she laid down, exhausted, next to Bryz.
Charlie had grabbed the tank and gave it back to Snow, "I know it wont help much but its all I'm doing.." she stared into the white air with a cold look on her face.
"Charlie... it's busted..." Snow said sadly, coughing up even more blood. "Please Charlie... I need... I need your help..." Snow blushed timidly, "I need your... your love... and your kindness... please, I-I'm begging you..." Snow's white face was somehow growing extremely pale, and she gazed into Charlie's eyes hopelessly. Yuri blushed hard, and turned to Bryz. Flare had fallen asleep, on the other side, so they had privacy. "U-um... I-I don't think I'm ready, but..." Yuri's eyes practically emanated fear. "W-will... will you m-marry me?" Yuri whimpered, pressing her face against Bryz's chest almost immediately.
Charlie glanced sideways at Snow, and for a split second gave Snow a kiss on the cheek. She moved to the corner of the cave her face hidden by her mane.
Snow whimpered, "Th-thank you... s-so much..." She said softly, still weak, but feeling better, save for overwhelming guilt. Snow blushed brightly, and looked away, "I-I'm sorry about everything... I-I didn't know mom would take it that far, and leave such lasting horrors..." Snow hid her face from Charlie's angry glare, praying for her to just end her misery, once and for all. Yuri hugged Bryz tightly, "I want to tell everybody else the news... that I have a beautiful wife... and a beautiful daughter..." She buried her face in her chest, crying.
"Y-yes... I-I'll do that... but, thank you again, Charlie..." Snow smiled softly, "You're a good friend..." Snow leaned against the wall and eventually drifted off to sleep. About an hour later, Grim quietly stepped through the door, "Hey Charlie, what happened to her?" He asked curiously, yet in a dark tone. "C-could you tell Dusk for me? Please? I-I'm terrified of him..." Yuri snuggled closer to Bryz taking a big shock to her inner thigh. She blushed, and pulled her small form closer to Bryz.
