"Don't assume I did something terrible" Charlie muttered, "she fell asleep." She lifted her head from the wall and glared at Grim. "She's weak from the lack of love I guess."
"Hey, chill out!" Grim stopped and started talking to himself again. This stallion was a bit... off... "Aw, Grim why'd you have to make a cold-weather pun now? Uh, maybe I wanted to lighten the mood and make her laugh? Ever think a out that? No, I didn't. 'Cause it's YOUR brain, moron! Oh that's it!" Suddenly, Grim stopped. Snow was gently huddling against him, shivering. "I didn't mean anything when I asked, alright?" Grim mouthed clearly to Charlie. Snow let go of him, and gave Charlie a quick embrace, backing off immediately, and returning to Grim's side. She looked at her with "I'm sorry for everything" written in her eyes. Yuri nuzzled Bryz's chest, and kissed it, "Thank you..."
"It's the least I could do, & besides, it would be best that he know.", Bryz replied starting to whisper, & nuzzled Yuri
Charlie stayed emotionless, she stayed on the opposite side of Grim and Snow in the cave. she thought back to Trottingham where she wished her family was still alive and back to normal before the stupid wedding. She took a deep breath and pushed aside the thought of her frozen bones.
Grim held Charlie's hoof in his, and looked her in the eye, like a mentor, "I need you to forgive her, alright? Not now, of course, but please forgive her, Charlie. She didn't do anything to you, or your family. She was there, and she, too watched in horror as your family was tortured. No one but you can suffer from the aftermath, your family fell apart, and I understand that. I, too, lost my entire family and everyone I had any sort of relationship with, and now they're all gone. But you must forgive her, if you care about her, and want her to continue breathing. The longer you stay at her throat, the more you'll both suffer. She'll die, but you will have to live with the guilt. I ask you again, please will you forgive her? She never wanted you to suffer like you did..." Grim gave her a light hug, and left to keep watch. Yuri kissed her gently, and received such delicate shocks, exciting her.
"That damned stubborn mare... why can't she put the past behind her..." Grim muttered to himself, tossing a few rocks. The blizzard had calmed and stopped, though the skies were forever gray. "If anything, she should learn to hide her intentions by flushing them from her eyes..." "Yeah, just a little, though." A voice said. "Ah, buck... I knew you were too stubborn to die... how's it going Dusk?" Grim shook his head as the barrel of a revolver was placed against his head. "I'm good, old friend. Have you seen my mares?" "Yeah, follow me. You need to talk some sense into Charlie, alright? I don't want them to suffer any longer..." Dusk smiled, "Charlie will listen to me, I think." Yuri hid her face, "I was hoping that I'd have a family of my own someday..."
Charlie jumped suddenly giving a small yelp, "Dusk? Oh thank goodness!" She gave up a hug holding onto him tightly
"Whoa! Easy there, beautiful!" Dusk laughed and gave her a loving kiss on the lips, "I heard you and Snow had some... problems..." He said quietly, gently stroking her gorgeous mane.
"I'm sorry I tried to play nice-" she cut her sentence short. "I'm sorry." She buried her face in his chest.
"Hey, it's alright... Grim told me that you, well..." Dusk leaned in close, "You kissed her?" He whispered, smiling wide. "I'd like for you to forgive her, Charlie. I know you don't want to, but please consider it seriously, alright?" He kissed her again, and held her in his arms.
Dusk kissed her gently, "I know... I know..." He said quietly. "But I need you to try it again, please..." Dusk pleaded, gazing into her eyes.
