Charlie pulled Yuri into a side hug, for some reason Charlie felt of Yuri like a younger sister. "ill take care of ya dont worry" she russeled Yuri's mane making her giggle.
Dusk stood next to Vergil, "Kids..." he sadly joked. "So what's the plan?" Dusk said, back in his Commander's tone.
Dusk chuckled, "Alright, the plan is: don't get killed, keep each other safe, and do exactly as I say. Everypony got that?" Without waiting for an answer, he started tossing weapons to the ponies. "We're going to Ponyville first, to look for survivors and supplies. If you see one of those... zombies... try to kill them without attracting attention. Everypony grab a trench knife, and some ammo. Charlie, Yuri, take these comm units. All of you, sync up your comms with mine. Let's move out!"
Dusk turned to Bryz, and his eyes were filled with confusion. He brought Bryz over to a corner, away from the others. "Why won't you take a weapon? CQC isn't a good idea with bare hooves against a zombie.
Charlie grabbed the 47, the only gun she knows how to use and synced the comm with Dusk. "Me and Yuri will take the north side."
Dusk looked at Bryz compassionately, "They're already dead, Bryz... they can't feel the electricity... besides, I won't let you risk yourself. Here." Dusk held out weapons with nonmetal handles, casings, and grips. "Bryz... please..."
"Thank you Bryz, " Dusk said, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. The shock hurt, but Dusk didn't mind. "Alright, let's go!" Yuri grabbed an enormous shotgun, and followed.
Charlie looked even more tiny against the large guns she was holding. She had struggle carrying them both but she made herself manage but laying them on her back.
"Vergil, Esy, take West Ponyville. Bryz, you're with me in South Ponyville. Everypony meet in East, so we can move on to Canterlot. We all clear?" Dusk said, standing next to Charlie and Bryz. He approached Charlie, "Keep my little girl safe, alright?" He asked, giving her a kiss on the cheek, too. "For luck."
Charlie quickly wiped it away when dusk wasn't looking. They've known each other forever and Dusk always knew that bothered Charlie when he did that. "Come on Yuri." she led the way towards the ruins of her house wondering if she's gonna find any of her neighbors.
Later, Dusk and Bryz were stepping over partially incinerated bodies and rubble, "So, how did somepony like you get the ability to electrocute something that touches you?" He asked, breaking the silence.
