That bit of text just really appealed to me. It is indeed magic how people can come together and enjoy each other, for the simple fact they are both human, and share one living and beautifull world. Regardless if they're male, female, black, white, christian, hindu, atheïst, rich or poor... It's something I've been thinking a lot about lately, and this little bit of text sums it up very nicely. Thanks Dwyn!
I'm sure you've heard advice along these lines many times before, but to paraphrase a bunch of different people; there will always be reasons not to try, but if you stand by and wait, the reasons might just continue to pile up, and you might decide to never try. Maybe instead of waiting to get over fear of rejection and success before trying to make your writing a profession, you should go ahead and try, and the experience will help you also overcome those fears? Like I said though, that's just my opinion. It's your decision, and you should do whatever you decide is best, but try not to let fear be the deciding factor (Insert a Pinkie Pie: Giggle At The Ghostie reference here). Hope that helps!
Damn. Look at the ol' man. Telling us 'bout his past like that. I've noticed a lot of threads like these, so I'm gonna have my say, right? I can't really compare my childhood to yours. Both of ours sucked. IN fact, you may be older than this ol' man, but we're much alike in many different ways. You know what I speak of. I won't go into detail. But don't forget that we're yer friends, and ya have yer wife as well, as I do mine. Stay safe, Dwynter.
