Well, the inevitable has happened. My XBox has RRoD'd on me. RRoD stands for "Red Ring of Death", which means that there is hardware failure inside the XBox. I shall try to turn it on tommorow, possibly the day after, just to be sure it isn't screwed over. First it's the PS3, then it's the XBox. I think I'm cursed.
(this might be better suited for general chat, although we could make a thread about hardware failure I suppose.) That sucks to hear bro. You should try the PS3 again, if it's possible. That way, I can try my skills against you. (by skills, I mean randomly pressing buttons.)
I never was any good at games on the PS3. I liked the bulkiness of the XBox controller. But yeah, I digress. This SUCKS.
I think the general idea is, all 360s are cursed. :derpe: <has RROD on 360 as well... but then again, that's the only reason I have it... ...PC and Nintendo shall never fail you (that easily anyways) though... <(has both, not too sure of how many games I can multi though)
NNNOOOO, I wanted to play you at some point. Oh well. My 360 only red ringed one time. Worst 2 weeks of my life.
If you pm me, I have a cure for the Red Ring of Death... my fiance is a techie and he figured out a few home remedies to help the Xbox's.. that is it you are willing to try it.
Ouch, that sucks. I hate it when a console dies, my PS3 died on me around 2 months ago; i'm planning on getting a new one next month. I've had to use the good ol' PS2 for gaming.
The Gods have noticed that you haven't been spending enough time on EveryPony. Repent, REPENT! Also, the new Xboxes don't melt like the old ones do I hear.
That sucks dude, I can't really relate as I've rarely played video games for about 6 months. But If I lost my 2 computers, or my internet, wow MY LIFE WOULD BE RUINED!
Whatever you do, don't follow the towel trick, it works a little but ultimately melts it more than where you started
well what can we say, sh*t happens. I remember the day when my wii failed to read any games. Had to send it to nintendo to get it fixed. Since then its been working fine. I'm sure you can do that too with your xbox.
I haven't played any consoles since Fall 2009. I used to play my brothers xbox (I kinda considered it mine since I was the only one who ever played it, which I did a lot) then, suddenly, he gave it away. Since then, my xbox has been to Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and most recently, North Carolina. I have since lost track of it, and lost all hope in ever getting it back. I'd buy a new one, but I have to save my money for a new car and student loan payments. sigh...I miss Fallout 3...
Good news... a good friend of mine decided to sell me his for a measly 100 bucks. I got off lucky. Geebus, I thought I was gonna have to send it in. Thankfully my Hard Drive still works (Or it looks like it does...), so I still have all my crap. Never fear, Pixel. You will get your chance in the end.
