http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20...ve-giant-middle-finger-to-public-domain.shtml Read this and weep . Seriously? Are they all puppets? And I thought the consumer was supposed to be the thief, buying public domain works is nothing but a middlle finger to the deceased creator and the public.
The supreme court is above the law and able to do whatever they want. Of course they want to do whatever earns them the most bribery money. What has basically been said here is that the 1st amendment is null and void. Supreme Court has said that because it is in their best interest to make them more money that we no longer have the right to free speech. Yes these copyright laws are unconstitutional regardless of how 7 guys in robes that know nothing about the constitution say. Perhaps if they had term limits and actually had to live under the same laws that they interpret and got paid the same amount as an average person, instead of millions of dollars in bribes, they might actually do their jobs.
the Constitution also states that we the common man can take up arms against the government with force if they screw up im not defending the government but people need to realize that the constitution is not a list of law's but a Guideline for America set down by its forefathers who did not see a small group of rebels but a new beginning for what was soon to be the largest country ever to be created by rebelling
If America ever thinks of attempting to pass this thing again. We need to blackout more websites, make a bigger outrage and maybe even get out of our basements and pick up signs in front of the white house. I'm not even American but I know the effect this could have the rest of the world and the trend this could set for the rest of the world. I'll finally restore my banner, but I'll change it back as soon as they attempt this again and I will do everything within my power to stop it.
