The beginning sounds good, only that it should start a bit quieter and then have a great crescendo into the louder part. Where's the percussion? I can barely hear it. Louder and more complex percussion can really make it more exciting. Lastly, don't max out the volume, which I'm afraid may be happening. Most music programs have a limiter or compressor that will dynamically reduce all sounds going through it if it reaches a limit, which will include the percussion. If you have any questions about any of this, just ask.
