"What does N.M.M mean then?" Charlie pointed to the midnight blue lettering on the all black leather cover. "And this book has alot of drawing, some aren't half bad!" She then held up the normal leather one.
Dune swiped the other book. He flipped it to a random page and read aloud "Dear Diary, Tonight is the night I rise against my tyrant sister Celestia. Tonight is the night that I take my revenge. And this night will last forever! If anypony tries to stop me, they'll be sorry. I must be off now...I have some business to finish." He narrated. "This is...This is!!!" He yelled
"w-what is it?" Charlie was a little scared at this point. "May I see it real quick?" she asked quietly
Dune looked at Charlie, and put a comforting hoof around her shoulder, still assuming that Knight was incapable of catching on. "It's Nightmare Moon's journal." He said, showing her the pages, some drawings of her plans in gory detail.
Charlie felt a chill down her back from the pictures, she pushed the journal lighty away and laughed nervously. "Gory details are things I hate the most.. but it can be useful." Charlie wasn't sure what was best to do. "but I'm not sure I want anypony caring it."
Dune glared at Knight. "I'm keeping it. If she attacks us, I want to be the one to fight her." He explained. "It's only useful to me."
"Ahem and why is it only useful to you?" then she quickly add, "And if anypony fights her it'll be all of us not just you."
Knight said, to dune,"You ever heard the story of max?", then rhymed,"late one night max lost his head, you see he pulled out his 44, talked some s***, & wound up dead."
"What's a 44? Who's Max? He sounds like a mindless fool to me. He died deserving it. And if you two want to fight her, you'll be getting in the way of my sand." Dune retorted.
"I don't need to be next to her to fight her, & if you keep talkin' s***, your gonna have the same wanweird end as max."
Charlie snatched the book away and placed it quickly in her bag, "No one is fighting her alone!" her voice almost turning to a yell. She turned to leave and disappeared into the ruins walking over her sand castle like it wasn't even there.
"I'm leading the way. You'll probably get excited about walking and get lost!" Dune yelled in anger. "Do you not understand that my whole life, I've had everything taken away and I'm sick of it? I'm not just gonna let her kill you two, should she come." He explained, walking in front of Charlie.
"And you have no idea what it's like to constantly here the voices of your deceased relatives, and know what dying is like in about a thousand ways.",knight yelled in response
"You don't have a merciless demon named Shukaku sealed in your head that will take you over and kill everything you love while you're still watching!" Dune replied, tears running out of his eyes.
