Total Darkness

Hex chuckled nervously. "Accidents h-happen..." He said.

 

"Answer my question, kid." Dune said, no compassion in his voice.

 

"Yeah, accidents, lets hope dune doesn't have an 'accident'.", knight said threateningly

 

Hex sighed. "...J-Just kill me..." He replied, hanging his head.

 

"Will you guys shut up?" Charlie had enough, "Now put him down, he didn't do anything!" Charlie narrowed her eyes at both Dune and Knight, "I cant believe you two."

 

"Really? killing is pretty much all my life is about."

 

"Just let them... Nopony cares about me anyways..." Hex said. "...Do it..."

 

Dune forcibly threw Hex on the ground. "He threatens to kill you and you let him go? What sense is that?" Dune asked in shock

 

Hex sobbed. "Stop toying with me!! End it already!!" He shouted, tearfully.

 

"I won't give you that satisfaction. I lived in hell my whole life until I met her. You can last. Threaten me again and I'll crush you to death. Little smartass." Dune snapped at Hex.

 

"Forget it.. its useless, cant get through your thick skull anyways." She stalked off into the cave grumbling to herself.

 

Knight put up an invisible barrier and said,"I'm watching you!, so don't you try and run..."

 

Hex stood up, sand lifting from his body. "Where's this 'dragon' I've been hearing so much about?"

 

"Why? I don't want to wait for somepony who's gonna kill somepony so innocently." She grumbled something and kept walking.

 

"That's none of your business.", knight replied to hex

 

"He threatened to kill you! You don't understand what that does to me!!!" Dune explained.

 

"Right... I'm... Just gonna go find that dragon..." Hex said, trotting away.

 

"No he didnt." she snapped the added, "the fact that your so quick to jump to conclusions.. it scares me." she finally stopped, only because they came to a series of smaller caves. "Great just another thing to add to a bad mood."

 

"Charlie..." Dune trailed in a helpless voice. Charlie could tell he was on the verge of tears.

 

Hex came to a stop. "Great!! Just bucking great!! I'm lost..." He said, sitting next to a stalagmite.
