"Be nice.." she said sternly. She load her front hooves across Dunes back so she could look over as Knight approaches.
Charlie's hooves sunk into an extremely sore spot in Dune's back, but it felt relieving. He let out a breath of relaxation before returning Knight's glare. "How did YOU enjoy killing that dragon?" He jeered.
"All the satisfaction I could've ever hoped for.", knight spat back, then started walking to the north east
"Real nice! Just leave! Go wherever! Without us!" Dune yelled spitefully at Knight. "He doesn't deserve nice. I can hear what he thinks of me." Dune said
"I'm not arrogant, you are!" Dune yelled in response to Knight's thoughts. "He thinks I'm a punk. He causes problems. Unoess you want him to stay, I say good riddance. Otherwise I'll go 'get' him." Dune defended himself from Charlie's depression.
"We're ending this. I'm sick of hurting Charlie. Get away from us unless you wanna march back here and talk this out. Choose." Dune ordered staunchly.
"Just shut up both of you! I'm sick of this, ill just finish this quest without the both of you!" Charlie jumped down from Dune's back and walked out of the cave dragging Hex along.
Dune came unglued for a moment but found inside he wasn't affected. It wasn't a front. "I would rather you came. Can we please just settle this?" He asked Knight more politely.
"No, I've got better things to do.", says a gaunt black figure that appears in front of dune, then It says,"well, on one condition."
"Buck your schedule. Forget the coin. When I'm done, I'm going to find you Knight. I'm going to kill you for the suffering you've put Charlie through. I tried to resolve. Don't follow us. Go do your better things. Enjoy them while you can." Dune said, warping into the sand and up into his old barracks room in Canterlot. "Might as well just grab this." He said, taking the element off of his wall. He was jabbed in the back with a guard's horn. Without even moving, he snapped the horn. He warped up to Charlie and gave her the element, an obvious look of hurt on his face. "Now you can finish wihout me. Knight said he had better things to do than resolve this. If you wish for me to stay...I guess this is it." Dune said, voice cracking at the realization he could lose her.
"If I were to die, I'd haunt you for all your life, fill your head with insanity, & make the demon within you take full control", the figure says, then disappears
"No.. no you cant!" she could literally feel her heart stop. "Please, you cant go." she gave him a tight hug not daring to let go.
He melted with relief into her arms. He was speechless but he hugged her back tightly. He nuzzled her affectionately. "I'm glad...that you want me to stay." He barely managed.
"Why would i not?" Charlie wiped away a couple of tears. "Sorry im normally this emotional its only when im stressed."
