Volt, still shaking off the water, slowly walked by the dock, he saw the scene and the poor wolf "NICE WAY TO GET A NEW SPECIAL SOMEP.. SOMEGRHYPHON BUDDY! AHAHAAH!" Volt said trying to take off "meh.. meh.. i can do it... come on!" "yo... Skilar.. little help please? i neeed some sun and wind so i can drie my feathers faster.. meh" he said flying like a chicken that was just gifted wings "so who won after all? " VOlt continued flying zig-zagging toward the boat
*Another loud laugh came out of her mouth seeing Volt clipclop on to the dock like a soaked cat* Well look what the cat dragged in and the dog buried back outside! *She found a towel hanging off a beam and handed it to him* You cheating evil pegasus, I should push you back into the water! *She giggled again and nuzzled his cheek then went to help Seth get out from under his new friend*
*Even though all the others were far ahead of them, both he and the empress Nortica came walking calmly behind them through the back entrance of the royal palace, escorted by few dozen guards and turned towards the harbour nearby as the lowering sun glimmered in the horizon against the calm sea and all the seagulls squawked cheerfully above them* Such a beautiful evening, don't you agree you're highness? It's quite the shame to be already leaving your fair lands, but I'll try to come back someday later when I get the time to do so. *He turned his head around a bit to look at the grand ivory and golden royal palace with a small smile on his lips, before turning his smile upside down and turning his attention at the docks in front of them that they were approaching at good pace ever so slightly* If only I would have had some time to get some souvenirs for some of my dear friends back at the equestria...
Seth looked to the gryphon. The gryphon glared back. After a few seconds, she kissed him on the lips. She then got up, brushed herself off, and walked back to her house. 'Wait till I tell Gilda I kissed a wolf' she thought. Seth just stared at the sky. "I think Bliss won. But... what...just happened?" He asked, a slight smile on his face.
*He continues to lounge lazily on top of the mast, staring up at the Sky and smiling* Aaaaah this is the life... * *He grins down at volt flying around like a chicken* No can do sorry, I'm to busy relaxing up here!!!
Oh goodness *she heaved in, calming breathing normally* That was sucha good run though *trots up to Seth realizing she must have won if she was several legs ahead of him on the dock. She helped him up and giggled again, a hoof under her chin as she went* I think you got an admirer Seth! It was a great race too! Looks like you didn't completely lose too, you got lucky with a gryphon, Volt is all washed up, and you have me giving you a "Loser's Kiss" on the cheek! *She gave him a peck* And don't worry... I won't make you bring me ice cream every day... just whenever I get a craving. And if it means that much to you, I'd be more then happy to come with you to the wolven empire. Just promise you won't let them eat me? *She giggled again* Hey Skylar! How's the view up there? *She darted up, kicking off the ground and flew into the air to meet him on the mass* Good thing we weren't racing with you, you probaby would of owned all of us! Ha! *She nuzzled his cheek as she saw Polly and Nightstrike being accompined by the Empress and the guards.* It was my pleasure that you were able to attend Mr. Polaris, *She spoke to him as they approached the yacht and the friends who already made it* I see that you are all ready to see your new accomadations?
After a few seconds, Seth stood from his dazed state. He then looked to Bliss with a smile, removing his shades. With his glasses gone, his bio-eye was visible. "I doubt she would have done that if she saw this little guy." He said, tapping his eye. "So... what flavor should I look for before we disembark?" he asked with a smile. He was beginning to feel like his old self again. He then turned to the wet Volt. "So, If I may ask," He said, lowering his voice so only Volt could hear. "Why did you want me as a plushy wolf?" he asked, not in accusation, but in curiosity.
"gaw.. any chanche i can have a mane-drier as a loser consolation gift? no worries for the power... " Volt said looking at the wolf "..uhm... i guess i am not telling you until you give me one!.. well for the answer.. uh i dunno... you are warm, soft cudlleable, and make a nice guard dog! you will be perfect in my electric dam! ahaha " "uh i am kidding" VOlt said patting the wolf's shoulder "so guys... i see that Blissy one.. heck... no rainbows before the departmenet then... heck.. nevermind.. so are we ready to return home?" Volt shouted turning around and admiring the beautiful castle "thank you your Highness, thank you for all, it was an awesome esperience that i will bring with me for the rest of my life! i am looking forwad to have more cooperation with Gryphon's engineers from now, again, thank you" he said bowing at the emeperess
*She nuzzled Skylar one last time, then fluttered down to accompany the others with the Empress* I'm more then eager to see my room now! My heart is still pumping from the race I guess I can't come down from my own excitment! Please, *Nortica nodded as she held out her talon addressing them all to enter onto the ramp to the large vessel.* *It was a pure white body yacht with golden highlights all around its rims. It had a large wooden mass with a transparent purple sail with the gryphon insignia on the middle of it painted gold as well. When Blissy reached to the vessel's outer floor, she noticed how smooth it was. It was made of marble as well as smooth oak wood, painted a light green to enhance the white marble's hue. She could see towards the front of the boat on their level there was a medium sized pool complete with a fountain and bar as well as louging chairs of all shapes, sizes and comforts. To top off this part of the deck, a sentimental palm tree overed over the chairs, giving them some shade.*
Seth patted the pegasus on the shoulder. "Tell you the troth... I'm sort of out of the job. With my little blast incident, the wolven high council denied me of my diplomatic code." He said with a sigh. "If you are willing to hire me, I would be honored to join you." He said giving him a slight bow. Getting back up, he gave him a pat on the head. "By the way... if you still want the blanket, just ask." He said before returning to the ship. Giving it a detailed exterior examination, he boarded the luxurious craft. He felt the marble brush against his padded feet, letting the seances enjoy the sensation. Seth also noticed that the marble was lined so that the natural engravings flowed with the ship. This truly was a masterpiece on the seas. The one thing he couldn't let go was what his room would look like. If it truly was what the user desired, then exactly what would his mind choose? He walked across the deck until he found the quarters. Embedded on the mahogany double doors was a silver-coated wolven emblem. "Now to see what my mind truly is..." He said, pushing open the doors. What met him would only be his be best dream.
*She fluttered around the outside yact with excitment, examining the outer lounge areas, to the back of the vessel with its board game areas and bar filled with all the food they could think of. She then followed the others further down into the vessel where Seth already was heading to see his room. She was surprised she spotted her room already, the symbol of her cutie mark embedded on the door automatically, like it were already expecting her. The only thing she frowned at the meadow pine wood was that it insisted it also have an embedded crown over symbol of the cutiemark. She placed her hoof on the golden door's handle, and pressed it down, the door chimed once then slowly creeked open...Her eyes dazzled as she took in the entire sight of where she'd be staying... The floor resembled that of her carpet, back at home in her bedroom in Appleloosa, soft and fuzzy brown. The room seemed naturally scented with the smells of spring and burning wood, her favorite smells. A roaring fire could be seen up against a wall, burning brightly and warm in a river rock and brick fire place and chimnie. Her bed looked to be a larger version of the one she had back at her's and Night Light's cave, a large pillow matress with pink blankets and purple and cyan pillows. She immiedatly flew and dropped herself on the bed, taking in all the rest of her surroundings. Her bed had light white drapes concealing her for privacy, a silver coat rack for her hood and cape. There was a country style wooden table for two with a boquette of deep red roses...her favorite. She then noticed next to her bed there was a large window where she was able to look out to see the Gryphon Castle and its citizens working busily. As the reality of where she was began to settle in, the smells of her room only made her weep a bit, making her think of home and her husband Night Lights. Then...as if the room sensed her feelings, a picture frame appeared out of nowhere, landing on the table a few feet from her bed.* What? How did you? *She fluttered to the picture, immediatly knowing what was on it, her handsome dragon husband, smiling at her warmly.* Oh...oh so amazing... *she hugged the frame. Then proceeded to levitate her cape and hood onto the rack. She placed the picture down then went to a wardrobe, that was ingrinned with chizled country art, of apple trees, pies and hard working country ponies all up and down the sides, a strong representation of her home where she was raised before Cloudsdale, a hard working but family friendly enviorement. If this wasn't enough...the antler styled crystal chandiliar with lit candle light seemed to push her over the edge along with soft fleece blankets rugs and decorated walls with pictures of country creeks and crystal mountains and even some of her family members. The entire room felt like a country cave mixed style, made of meadow wood and stone. It all felt too good to be true, it was as if she had the best of both worlds, her family lifestyle mixed with hers and Night Lights.* This is all...so amazing... I'm glad you approve, you have fine tastes I see Blissy *Nortica smiled, poking her head through the door.* As you can see friends, *she called out amongst them.* The rooms adjust to your emotions and needs whenever you change your mood. Like with Blissy missing her husband, it spawned her a picture of the one she loved. This can all happen with your rooms too, to help accomadate to make your trip more comfortable!
NightStrike wandered trough the vessel with them. The yacht looked amazing. He had been used to simple accommodations. Most of the time, he didn't even have any at all. Then he gasped at the sight of Blissy her room "That is one big nice room! Heh, I think that ours will be a little less grand, she's a princess after all. But whow, it's a good sign indeed!"
" really?? are they crazy?? you are an awesome wolf and you did an awesome job! bah.. buck 'em.. Seth, if you want th place is yours at the dam... but be warned.. you will get bored.. a lot.. and when it comes down those rare times to work, it gets hard... but anyway.. if you need just tell me, i will contact my superiors at Cloudsdale.. after all... i get paied from them... so let's see my room" Volt stopped hearing Nortica's words "wait... so.. those rooms shapes around our mood too?" Volt shivered "i.. i don't think it is a good idea then , i mean..." he noticed his room, down the corridor, a solide wood door, with his cutie mark on it, it was made of a strange shining material.. Volt approched the door "this.. this smell.." he slowly licked with the tip of the tongue the material "alloy of rhodium and palladium! oh Luna... this is incredible...welll.. let's see how is my brain then.." he carefully opened the door, only darkness inside, he then closed himself inside, suddenly there were a lighting from the center of the room, thousand and thousand of lightbulbs dancing and floating in the air, blinking without any wires, in the center, an huge Tesla coil was sparking and raging at him, he could feel the static electricity "yesss..... i .. i can feel this.." Volt said taking off and flying around the room, his cutie mark blinking, his body recharging "this is so awesome!" he noticed that the walls were replaced with dozen of cloud-made Doric columns "just like Cloudsdale! and .. oh my.. the ceiling!" he landed and stopped admiring the fresco on the ceiling, it was a copy of 'The school of Athens' his favourite painting ever (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/94/Sanzio_01.jpg) "Seek Knowledge of Causes... " he said to himself while his back shivered in emotion, on a corner he saw the best supply of tools he ever saw, wrenches, multimeters, soldering stations, Argon tanks, wielder tools, frequency generator, everything "i can fix entire Equestria with this! oh hell! i want to live here forever!!" Volt added making a loop and hardly landing on his bed "hard and cold like i want! this is heaven!" on the bedisde table a photo of his father, Electron Hertz, of his old buddies from the university and one of Nikola Tesla "rest in peace friends.. the factory got you.. but not me... i survived.. thanks to you...." suddenly, the photo changed, on it there was Volt, sorrounded by his new friends "much.. much better " he said smiling and with a little tear down his eye ".. woah... this is so beautifull i can't even describe it... " the Coil stopped sparking, entering in the cooling cycle "well, i feel like a new pegasus! there is nothing better than feed to static electricty! time to see how others are doing!" he shouted blasting himself out te door after dancing in the air around the lightbulbs

As he walked calmly past his friends in the hallway as they all began to search their rooms, he suddenly stopped in front of a certain dark oaken door with a silver handle on it, that beared the similar symbol of his cutie mark. It was most clear that this was indeed his room and without a second thought, he gently turned the handle down with his magic and opened the door to his room with a slight creak, only to be having his vision immediately assaulted pleasantly by the almost familiar sight of a very stylish room and modern looking room with various expensive designer class furnitures, like a comfy black leathery reading chair in the corner, a finely crafted reading table with all sorts of books on top of it made from dark wood with steely grey legs, large flat screen TV hunged against the opposite wall and a medium sized bed made from dark wood with pure white sheets on the other* Wow... Just... Wow... *The floor was made of dark hardwood and the walls were made from grey unsymmetrical stone bricks, and many different plants hanged against the wall in triangular shaped pots. As for the lighting of the interior, a great circular disc sort of lamp was attached to the ceiling, while there were few square shaped wooden wall lamps attached next to some of the plants and above the bed. The room also had it's own bathroom located next to the entrance, mini-bar near the bed like in the castle and a music player with various CD records lined in perfect alphabetical order in a nearby dark wooden shelf. Then it suddenly came to him as he realized that this room looked almost like his own back in the Canterlot, with some personal flavours thrown in aside which he never had thought about having implemented in his home* This room is amazing... Never knew my style was a bit more less colorful and more modern, but again, my home back in the city WAS designed for me by the people at my work place, so I never really had any say in decorating it to my taste... *He still stood in front of the doorway and looked around his personal quarters utterly amazed, before he snapped back to reality and finally stepped further inside and laid himself on top of the comfy bed and stretched all his fours widely and letting a long and loud yawn, before smacking his lips and looked around the room around him a bit again and began to stroke his beard with his right hoof thoughtfully, as if he just had a great idea* ... Perhaps I could talk with miss Photo Finish again, and ask her if her decoration team could do some little changes to my current household...
*She peeked her head out of her room, refusing to leave it just yet so she could explore it a bit more, but couldn't help to hear her friends reactions about their rooms. She caught a glimpse of Polly's room, and wasn't surprised by his low hue fashion tastes. She couldn't wait to see his as well as the others before exploring the rest of the ship, especially the galley where the food was* *She pulled her head back in and continued to let her eyes trace over inch of her country cave styled room. She spotted another door she hadn't seent, it was porslin crafted with golden lineing going up and down its edges, all meeting up at the pushing handle. She nudged it open with her magic and was even more overwhelmed by the sight of it bein gher own personal bathroom. She blushed at the thought this was what the room was feeding off of in her own personality and needs... She loved taking baths and loved it to be roomy with all the comforts. She loved to wash herselve in oils and bathing gels and the sink counter was stock piled with all sorts of exotic candles, bathing lotions, gels and soaps. But she hated getting out and being soaked and cold, shivering on smooth floors. The bathroom had several robes for her to choose from, a milkshake maker machine, and an over cast heater lamp that resembled a red rose like the ones in her bedroom. If she didn't feel like a princess before...she did now*
*As he opens the door he slowly steps into his room, turning around as the door shuts at it's own accord. He stands and stares as the room around him begins to shift and morph with a life of it's own shifting to resemble the old tavern rooms that he and Callette used to stay in during their early days together in Ponyville just after they returned to the north. The room it's self doesn't look very original however strangely it felt very homely and welcoming. A wood fire burns in the large stone half on the right hand wall, hanging above it is a picture of him and Callette kissing framed against the setting sun, he remembered it being taken in canterlot a few months ago. At the top of the room lays a large double bed with a hay stuffed mattress , just like the one in the tavern the first time he and Callette... he blushes a little and smiles a bit, sighing as he thought of her. For a while he sits there just staring at the picture of her before turning to open the large double windows looking out onto the churning waters, he whispers* I miss you so much Cal.... *he closes his eyes, the wind gently whips through his mane and he closes his eyes, not noticing the flash of Light behind him as he turned around he saw several pictures of his beloved mare appear on the walls behind him*
Seth stood at the opening to his quarters, mouth wide in aww. His room was the definition of beauty and creativity. The flooring was made of a soft marble that was buffered, but unpolished. Frankly, the texture was perfect for his pads. The walls of the room were of a winter pine that only grew in the wolven empire. However, what made all the difference was what was lighting the room. In the exact center was a half sphere made of glass. Within it was a glowing blue liquid. Plasma. There were glass pipes that ran smooth with the marble in a spoke formation around the room, pumping the glowing matter to light it's surroundings. Each spoke lead to a different section of his room. One lead to his sleeping area. His bed was covered with a dark velvet sheet. hanging above the the bed was a flag displaying the wolven emblem. On a nightstand was a copy... no, the original parchment that held the code of the wolves. Also on the stand was a picture of Seth and his late brother, Dawn. The wolf shed a tear at the sight of the picture. It was one not of sadness, but of memories he shared with Dawn. He was happy that he would thing to add that to his room. On the other nightstand stood a mount for his leg as well as a group photo of the six members of the clan. Next on the spoke of the room was a study area with a bookcase and a desk. On the desk were an assortment of small tools to maintain his new appendage, along with a computer, and a book. The book was rather new, and bared the title "War amongst peacekeepers". Third on the spoke was a private kitchen. I was stalked with the usual supplies for a carnivore, except that it had two refrigerators. One was stalked with everyday cookware, but the other houses a vary large supply of raw meat. Seth's mouth watered at the sight of the heavenly meals he could cook. Finally there was a double door. Seth opened it to reveal a circular room with a hole in the middle. It it was water with a sheet of ice over it. At one area on the outer edge was a pile of logs and some incense. Tears began to fall in a stream at the sight of this. This (all be it a lot more classier) was his relaxing pond from home. During his military training, he always went over to a frozen pond and relaxed his sour muscles in the chilling waters. The logs were for melting the layer of ice and burning the incense to relax him. The only thing that wasn't there was his brother. He always joined him on the days he walked to the ponds. Now, he was alone. He accepted his brother's death long ago, as he had to; but there always was a missing of his kin. He left the room, wanting to enjoy the ice-bath later in the night. He walked out of the room, seeing the empress in the hall. He gave a slight bow her, saying, "I must thank you for the accommodation. It is something of a miracle that you have provided what you have." He said, raising himself.
NightStrike made his way to his own room, noticing the others made their way to their own respective rooms, he decided he should visit his own. Trotting trough the amazing corridors, admiring every part of the interior, the beautiful paintings and tapestry's where unlike any he had seen before. Each of them was probably worth a small fortune expressing huge amounts of detail, being made by some of the best artists he had seen. After a while he found the door to his own room. It was a wooden door with beautiful patterns of runes decorating it, giving off a soft green hue. While inspecting it closer, he could see his cutie mark multiple times, woven in the patterns. When he opened it carefully noticing the door didn't make any noise at all which he liked he looked into his room. It was dark, maybe too dark for a normal ponies but NightStrike loved it. He noticed a strip of certain material on the wall. When he touched it, it lit up instantly giving off a soft green light and lighting up various other objects and patterns too in the room seemingly made from the same material as the door and the strip but in all kinds of different colors. Fiery red patters or soft green leaves but also wild blue waves and sizzling yellow electricity patterns. He instantly loved it. As soon as he took his hoof off the strip, the strip and patterns slowly stopped glowing. He thought to himself not believing he had to keep his hoof there all day just to see those things lighting up. Being a curious pony, he tried out various things including doing whole rituals, trying to press different combinations and doing a weird dance. Nothing seemed to help though. In the end he gave up and lifted one of the patterned objects towards him. As soon as he did that however all the objects instantly lit up, and didn't went off this time. He smiled to himself proud that he just figured out another mystery himself. All the facilities inside his room seemed to be top notch. The bathroom alone was as big as most of the houses he had seen in his life. It was wonderful, and NightStrike was getting happier with the minute. He saw pictures of him and Volt, during the old day when they sometimes went together on missions against changeling hives. His bed was simple but big, and it was really soft just as he liked it. He noticed the room smelled wonderful, like how the forests used to smell during spring. He loved that smell, he loved the forests in general. Squeeing and jumping around happily he made his way out of the room being happier than he had been in a long time.
*She paced the hallways as the ponies and wolf Seth inspected their holdings, feeling a sense of pride and joy in seeing their happiness and enthusiasm* I'm so glad you all like your rooms, and that they are behaving accordingly to your needs. The magic is constantly adapting to fit your requirements and wants, so you should all be comfortable on your voyage back home. There is a pool up at the front of the deck, and an outside gaming area in the back. There's a larger kitchen at the bottom of the vessel. On this level, as well as your rooms, there's also a spa room for you all to enjoy as well as a small bar filled with your favorite drinks and treats, as well as a library and research room if you all get bored with the entertainment around you *giggles*. The top is where the helm will be. But don't worry, you won't need to manuelly control the vessel, its already been technically tuned to get to your destinations already. So all you have to do is sit back and enjoy your time. THANK YOU SO MUCH NORTICA *she fluttered out of her room like a humming bird, buzzing by others heads as they poked out, and grabbed her gryphon friend, hugging her large violet neck* I can't thank you enough for what you have done. No words can describe, thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!! *grips tighter nuzzling under her beak* It's nothing at all really, I'm just happy your not annoyed your testing this vessel for us. I'm grateful you all like it! *She wrapped her talon around the small mare, gave her a good hug, the placed her down gently* Well, I'm sure you are all anxious to get going on your trip and enjoy your times together. As soon as I leave this ship, it will take off on its own as it was programmed for. Do any of you have any questions before I leave you all?
"ehm yes..." said Volt noticing the emperess on the door of Blissy's room, and starting to walk toward her "sorry your higness, i mean, thank you, thank you for all, all of this is beautifull really.. but... i am a curios pony... is there.. any possibility.. to look in the machine room? just for curiosity, i will not touch anything, just.. take some notes on Grhiphon's engineering.. if there aren't any secrets or problem of course.. sure all of this is incredibly awesome and relaxing too, but, i just can't keep my hooves in my hooves.. and i'd really like to know your engineering and designs betters.. after all... our countries are starting to share morethan simply economy i guess... but, again, if it is a problem i will not move my hooves out of my place..." Volt said bowing emebarassed for what he just requested "but again.. really.. thank you emperess... i am sure.. this will be the best trip of our life" Volt ended keeping his head toward the ground
