*He looks down at the floor sheepishly and gives a small sigh before he talks* Sorry Bliss... it's just that I .... *Gives another sigh* I just feel so worn out from todays events and... yeah like you said I am really missing Callete.. I know it's only been a few days but you know.... *He stops talking and looks over to her sheepishly, he could clearly see her frustration and annoyance at him, he gulped not sure how she would take what he was about to say* Look Bliss....*he nuzzles her gently and closes his eyes, continuing to talk* Before I met Callette all I would dream of is going on adventures or have my head up in the clouds with no real concern for myself, as you know I even got to the point during the trip north where I was pretty sad at being alone and even slightly jealous of what you and Night Lights had with each other.... now that I am so recently married it really just hits home how much she means to me and how these trips really wear me and her down, we've had our talks about it before but she understands why I feel the need to always help you out, you know I love you like a sister and would never leave you to face anything alone, but at the same time I would ask you to understand my position here and not just look at it from your point of view. I guess what im saying is now I want to try and settle down a little with her and try to get some normality in my life, but at the same time I don't want to completely leave you nor our friends.... do you see my dilemma? *he sighs again and keeps looking at the ground*

But even without the ascention how could our lives be normal right? *She peeked out from under her ears to stare at him, then quickly darted back under* I'm so sorry for dragging you all the way down here...I should have been more considerate for you and Cal... I was only thinking about myself, my own comforts... I'm just a big fat coward...And you are suffering from that... Lil'Blissy can't do things on her own without Skylar and their friends helping her... *she started to drift off, speaking out of her mind at this point* Why can't I be a normal pegasus like any other? Why couldn't me and Night Lights just be a normal couple! *she bit her tongue then, realizing she had dissed her own marriage with Night Lights.* That's...that's not what I meant I mean... *She leapt off his bed and stood in front of the room for a moment, her head down, ears touching the floor, a few drops were staining the floor* I just...wanted you to be with me Skylar...for support...and I'm sorry I didn't think about you enough...I promise I'll never ask anything big of you again... *She then galloped out of his room, slamming his door unintentionally with her levitation, then darted into her own, locking the door, and fluttered to sob into her pillow*
Seth looked at the sky, watching the dynamic dragons fly off. He smiled at the bounds of mother and son, slightly wishing he knew what that felt like. His thoughts were interrupted when Bliss raced out of Skylar's room in tears. He looked from the dragons to Bliss's door. "Not even ten minutes in and I have already f***ed up royally..." He muttered to himself, remembering his ought to protect Bliss. He walked over to her room and knocked gently on the door. "...Lightning... it's Seth. Is everything all right?" He asked. He placed his ear against the door, hearing her sob on her room.
*He watched enthusiastically up towards the skies, as Nights joined his mother Prya soaring above the skies, sending great jets of fire from their mouths at random directions as they roared and circeled above them for all the citizens, dock workers and guards alike at the pier and city's busy streets to see and gasp from awe. He smiled happily at the sight of them both soon after vanishing beyond the horizon, he then turned towards the entrance of the yacht and stepped down to the hallway, only to see Seth the wolf standing in front of the door and trying to ask Blissy if she was okay. He was about to join in with the wolf, but remember that he had to go visit his friend Skylar in a room almost next to her's, to ask why didn't he answer to Night's summons earlier. He found the Skylie's quarters and gave a three gentle knocks to the door with his hoof, before speaking out in a careful and calm tone* Skylie? It's me, Polly! Are you okay, my friend? Can I come in?
"SHOW-OFF AHAHA!!" Volt shouted at the sky looking at the two dragons and giggling at the awesome show "this is awesome! really.. uh..." Volt turned to see a frowned Seth knocking on Bliss's door "uh.. what's wrong? what happened?" Volt said a bit concerned "and where is SKilar? I didn't see him coming at the call... is.. is Blissy sobbing there?" Volt asked looking at the wolf and approaching the door "uh.. if you have to open it i have ways... but i guess it is a tiny bit diserespectfull for a princess.. EHI BLISS! WHAT'S WRONG THERE???" Volt suddenly shouted at the door, litterally above Seth's ears
*She heard Seth first...then soon after the excited yet concerned tone of Volt...but pressed herself into the pillow, hoping everypony and wolf would just disappear. She felt too ashamed to show her face, feeling overwhelming guilt that she brought Skylar here as well as the rest of them. Throwing them into a whirlwind of new and unsual, so far away from their daily lives...Abruptly though, knowing she couldn't change the situation...and not wanting to worry anypony else...she called back* *Sniffs* I'm fine!!! Really! *She tried to sound cheerful* I ah... just got something in my eye...trying to sob it out is all! *Sniffs harder* Um... Nortica will probably be leaving the boat any second...Once she leaves, the boat will depart...I'll be out in a bit to wave goodbye...think the citizens are expecting that.

You selfish, selfish idiot....*Tears streamed down his face as he continued to whisper to himself* Your sister has such a huge burden on her shoulders... never will she be able to lead a normal life.... you sit and mope and complain while you do nothing more than accompany her on her trips..*he sniffs and gives a loud sigh, walking out onto the deck of the ship, the cold breeze blows through his mane, causing his tears to stream behind him as he slowly flew and sat on the highest point of the ship, for a while he just stared out over the crystal blue water which glinted pink in the setting sunlight. Thoughts raced through his mind as he continued to stare out over the sea, he whispered again*I am sorry Sis.... I am such an ungrateful brother to you.... you have given me everything that I could have ever wanted...*he flicks open his pendant and stares at the picture of Callette, feeling his heart torn between his beloved sister and his mare* *Talks through sobs*I really want to help Blissy out because I love her so much.... but it kills me to think of Callette sat at our home worrying about me... and me worrying about her... but we are adults... we can look after ourselves.... now I've said to much and upset Bliss... *Sighs and keeps staring out over the water and thinks about the times he spent with her over the years, the adventures they had, their moments such as their union. They had the strongest connection imaginable, he cared about her so much but at this moment he felt he had let her down, every pony else seemed to go on without complaining apart from him... then again the others such as volt, seth, polaris and wayzer still hadn't settled down with a mare... he had more responsibilities so it was understandable in a way how he felt, again he looked down at the pendant, his mind still torn* *As he wept the sky began to darken, cold rain began to lash down onto the deck*
*Nortica watched as her scaly guests vanished into the horizon, then approached the bow of the ship, standing on its tip to address the citizens that have gathered. It was time for their honorable guests to shove off back to their homelands. I do hope they enjoy their time, it looks like they all need a rest. She smiled back as she noticed the others head down below to check on their friends, then turned to the crowd to announce them* Citizens of Gryphon Empire! Thank you for your loving support and your hard work in making this ship a reality! We wish our honored guests a safe trip and a fond farewell. Then all of them on each side of the pier of the boat, grabbed the ropes that held the vessel in place* GET SET! *She squawked again* GET SET! *The guards unlooped the ropes and ready to drop them off the pier* LET GO! *She squawked again, and the guards released the ropes as she on time, lifted up into the air. The crowd went wild as the ship jerked at first with magical motion, then backed away from the docs...It slowly flowed out of its holding, its sail casting out to display the empire symbol. Moments later the bow was completely turned about and the boat turned forward, facing towards the horizon.* *She looked up realizing the boat was moving and levitated her window open to watch the crowds waving goodbye to her and her friends. She sniffed back her tears again, and stuck her hoof out, waving goodbye to the Empire...sighed and relaxed, waiting for her tears to dry...She hung out of her window, till the Empire was beyond the horizon, and the tower faded away into the mist of the ocean surf* Here we go... *she sighed again* A week trip on the high seas...I hope mine and Skylar's sadness won't be an omen of things to come...
NightStrike trotted up to the main deck, he had been scouting the research lab, for a while and had reluctantly decided to wave the gryphon population goodbye. NightStrike actually loved science, but he rarely had the time for it, as he was always on missions. So as soon as he saw his room, he almost rushed to it, and found it eventually which wasn't that much of an easy job, as the ship was huge. He heard Blissy her voice which sounded quite sad to him. Which confused him, as he thought they where all happy to take this trip. He quickly trotted to both Seth and Volt standing in front of the room tilting his head questioningly. "Wow, I'm down in the lab for a few hours and now this is happening. Why's Blissy so sad, is the trip not going as expected?" He asked once he neared the two.
"lab?... LAB!!! YEAH! LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT IT!" Volt said jumping on his hooves "i love lab! let's give those gryphones some nice Equestrian's fireworks as memory!!!" Volt said eaging and flying around Nightstrike "come on friend! we don't have much time before the ship moves!"
NightStrike shook his head and looked the pony in the eyes, "Not now Volt, don't you see that there's something with Blissy? We can always check out the lab later, it's not like it's going to disappear. So can any of you bring me up to speed why she's so sad?" He said trotting around nervously getting nervous because of Volt. "She's here now, and though I might not know her for that long, she's still my friend, and I don't want her to be sad on a wonderful trip like this one. She needs our help now ok?"
*As the boat started moving slowly from the pier gracefully into the open seas in the horizon, he watched all the gryphons still waving and cheering at them in the distance from the deck, before becoming tiny indescribable specks in the distance the further the boat moved away from the gryphon lands towards the shores of equestria in the west, escorted by numerous seagulls flying above them in the skies. Deciding that since they were all now on the move and there was alot of time to kill, he thought about going to the relaxation room down the deck in the back of the yacht for some much needed time off, maybe to read a book and listen to some calming music, before calling it a night and hitting the hay. Not before deciding to take a shortcut through the yacht's kitchen area for something to eat* Gotta see if they have coconut rum in the cooler that I can mix in with some sweet hot chocolate, and maybe have a few croissants on the side...
"uh yeah.. but still... i don't think if it is a good idea to open the door.. maybe she want to be left alone.. still.." Volt approached the door, knocking on it again "BLISSY! WE ARE GOING! GET OUT AND SAY HELLO! WHAT'S WRONG??" Volt yelled again "ok.." he opened his bag picking up a tool of picks "if there are troubles, you know i can open that door ok?" "HELLOOO?? PRINCESS??"
*Her ears flicked at the sounds of Volt and the familiar scent of Seth still hovering at her door despite they have left the harbor of the Empire. Hearing something on the linesof "picking the lock" made her not waste time to flutter to her door, levitating the lock off and opening the door.* Volt! Seth! *she coughed and checked her volume, she practically shrieked out their names due she had been crying so hard. She turned her head away to check her eyes, and relaxed that they were dry, though her eyes were clearly puffy from the effort.* Sorry... ahem *she turned back to them.* Sorry I locked the door, really I just had something in my eyes... Maybe salt from the sea breeze *sniffs and rubs her nose* *She landed on the floor in front of them, pawed it for a moment, then pushed forward, getting between them happily and levitating her room door shut behind her* So... now we've got this ship all to ourselves. Let's throw a little going home party or something... Shake this boat up a bit? I mean *she shuddered, her legs tremmbling with the need to hide her sadness with excitment* I got a wolf male and a stallion sandwitching me, probably dying to take me out for a bite to eat! Show this princess a good time? Lets go out on a bender and get drunk on ice cream!
Volt's eyes blinked at the word 'party' "Party? PARTY??? PARTY HARD YUHUUUUUUUUUUU!!" Volt took off competely forgetting the state of Bliss, too much time has passed since he had some real and nice fun with friends "we will make this boat SINK!" Volt flied trough the corridor doing an hard turn, going back and picking up Bliss on the air "come on princess! you can't be sad! this is YOUR day! everything will be fine! we are all so happy to be here! you can't be sad!! noe let's go!" Volt gently landed letting free the princess "sorry for not being.. royal.. eh eh" Volt reached the ceiling and started to walk on it to the end, keeping himself on with his wings, laughtingly almost maniacally "PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY party party par.." he then opened the door of the kitchen, falling down on the ground for the surprise "for all the clouds! this.. is.. heaven!! GUYS! YOU GOTTA SEE THIS ABBUNDANCE OF FOOD!"
*As he was about the open the microwave to get his steaming hot chocolate cup out, his ears perked up to the sound of a kitchen door opening next to him on the right and turned his head to see Volt standing there with his jaw hanging almost to the ground at the sight of all the delicacies that surrounded the modern, but yet cozy looking kitchen area* Welcome to this boat's kitchen, folk! I might say that this kitchen has enough food for us to last a whole week till we get back to our home continent! Please help yourselves with anything you can find! I've already found mine! *He took the hot cup of chocolate with his magic from the microwave oven, brought it gently in front of him and blew some steam off, before opening the fridge nearby and extending his levitation aura to a small white bottle of coconut rum, rolled the cork to open it and carefully poured few drops of transparent liquid into the hot chocolate cup and after placing the bottle back in the fridge, he then proceeded to mix his hot goodness with a silvery spoon he had found earlier from a nearby drawers, before after a while he took a careful sip from the cup to test if it was warm enough. Suffice to say it was perfectly warm and delicious and without saying anything else, he merely closed his eyes and let out long and content Mmmm after his lips had dislodged from the cup*
NightStrike tilted his head in curiosity. "Mmm I know I'm a pony who doesn't like to stand out, but I wouldn't have expected her to overlook me like that." He mumbled a bit dazzled as Volt and Blissy flew away. "Well better go after Volt before he wrecks something up". And even though Volt didn't seem to notice it, or didn't really care in his state of excitement, NightStrike did notice her sniffing. She seemed to be happy, but something was off to him. He looked at Seth if he would follow him, and went after Volt and Blissy towards the kitchen.
*She blinked at Volt's enthusiasum, then gasped when he lifted her up in the air to fly her all the way to the kitchen, looking back hoping Seth was running close behind in pursuit. When they landed with a thump, she was both excited from Volt's joy and happy to see Polaris was apparently thinking the same thing. She was more relieved when she saw NightStrike come in as well, following closely behind Seth, knowing they wouldn't let Volt get too crazy.* Tell me Doctor Volt... *she nuzzled his cheek happily* Are you always this crazy? Or just around Princess? Oh heck, enough with the Princess jibberish! Please just call me Blissy! I hate the title anyway! Talk to me like I'm on your levels please! *she pecked his cheek, then galloped over to the freezer Polaris was standing next to, who was clearly enjoying his cup of chocolate.* Please please PLEASE tell me there's ice cream in this rigged vessel! *she started digging through the frozen contence...and gasped at the sight. Then pulling her head out while levitating a big heaping gallon of chocolate ice cream, followed by a bottle of syrup.* I'm in heaven!
Seth smiled at the others as they left for the kitchen. He trotted at a brisk pace behind NightStrike. When they arrived at the kitchen, his eyes went huge with enjoyment. If he thought his kitchen was good, this was the heaven of all kitchens. There was every type of food Seth could think, except one. Meat. However, there was a door labeled "Carnivorous only". Opening it up, Seth was met by a grand deli locker. There was sausage, beef, pork, chicken, fish, and it continued on. However, the one thing he wanted most was draped over a hook, just waiting for him. He walked over to the links of Prussion sausage, cutting off ten links and walking out the door. Walking into the main kitchen, he trotted over to the rotisserie oven and draped the links in it's spiraling metal. Closing the door, he awaited his culinary delight. Looking back at the others, he noticed Bliss pulling out a gallon of ice cream. Seth trotted over to her, taking out an ice cream scoop. "I believe that I still owe you the winnings of our bet." He said, beginning to scoop the first amounts of the cream into a large bowl. After a few scoops, he turned to the princess. "... Bliss, if there is anything you need... if it's even an ear..." He said softly.
NightStrike watched the others, chuckling as he saw Blissy running towards the fridge in a desperate quest to find ice cream. He also noticed that Seth managed to get himself some meat. It was only logical there was some meat on this ship, it was build by gryphons after all. And they all seemed to enjoy it. He didn't want to eat too much for now, so he only drank a bit. Looking around the kitchen he saw a box of tea lying somewhere. When he opened it, he noticed the ship had a huge selection of tea, some tastes he never even heard of at all. He cooked up some water and made himself some tea labeled autumn breeze, with a spoonful of delicious looking honey. He took a sip, and closed his eyes. "Wow hehe, that has to be some of the best tea I've tasted in years!" He said softly
