"COFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" Volt screamed litteraly launching himself over the table of the kitchen, turning around he turned on the coffe machine while grabbing with his wings a jar of nut cream "I AM ALLERGIC TO THIS BUT I DON'T CARE!" He dived his nose in the jar, emergenging after a while with all of his nose covered in cream "YUMMM... ICE CREAM WITH CHOCOLATE AND COFFE! MUST TRY!" "uuhm ehm.. sorry... i went a bit nut... all of this food.. i am not used.." He opened his bag with his wing and faster than a lighting swept inside the jar and a couple of biscuits, closing it with another rapid movement "and Blissy... i spend all of my time closed in a concrete and steel structure working alone with water and electricity... i tend to become a bit.. excited.. when i have a moment of freedom... and i get crazy when i can spend this moment with awesome friends like all of you! AND I TURN INSANE WHEN I ALSO HAVE AN AWESOME SHIP JUST FOR US! NOW LET'S PACK UP SOME POUNDS ON OUR BELLY!" Volt screamed taking a loop-de-loop in the air and landing near Blissy, he nuzzled her neck "uh sorry if i am this way.. really.. sorry.. i just can't get an hold of myself.. i am like electricity... keep it at low voltage and you can control it... raise the potential difference and you will have a breakout! You can't stop me while i am happy! so.. can i have some Vanillia ice cream? i want to show you Ice cream drowned in coffee! " the coffe machine sent a bip "ready! " he took a bowl of vanillia ice cream and poured on it the hot coffee from the machine, he then turned around on an electric mixer putting the bowl under it, after few second VOlt stopped the machine, noticed a block of dark chocolate, he covered it with a towel and start to jump on it with all of his four hooves, after giggling a while on the small pieces of chocholate he proceded to add them to the ice cream "almost done!" he put the ice cream on a six big glasses, a straw to each of them "here it is! the most ipercaloric and energetic milkshake you can ever dream off!.. Polaris! you seem to enjoy alchool like me.. try to add this!" he opened his bag, launching at Polairs a small small yellow bottle "it is Sanmbuca: a distillation of Anisette! Alone it is too much strong, but add it on a dessert or coffè to bring a special flavour you can't find somewhere else easily!.. thou the best way to serve it is with coffee.." he added some tears of it on a small glass near a coffe cup, placing around it three coffe beans and offering the cup to Polaris "The most iconic serving of sambuca is a shot with three coffee beans, the three coffee beans represent health, happiness and prosperity... old tradition of my people to wish the best possible things to a friend! " "so everypony.. and wolf.. what are you waiting for? " Volt giggled and jumped around on his hooves
"Well that sure looks delicious my friend!" NightStrike said walking over to Volt after finishing his tea, nuzzling amiably. "I love coffee bro! But ehm, I'll keep it down a bit with the alcohol." Leaning in close he whispered in his ear chuckling slightly: "And please for Luna's sake, behave yourself a bit my friend" He patted Volt on the shoulder. He lifted over one of the glasses, took a sip and smiled widely jumping up into the air "YUMMY!!!!"
*Looking all over this fascinating blend of coffee and liqueur Volt had just created for him, he gently placed his hot chocolate to the kitchen counter next to him and with his magic again, he grabbed the other cup from Volt's hoof and took a small and careful sip from it* Hmmm... I've never tasted anything like this before, Mister Volt! I can already say that the taste is quite exquisite, almost like that Ayerysh coffee I tasted not too long ago in my usual outdoor café back in Canterlot! I Thank you for sharing your drinks with me, Doctor Volt! *He took another and final gulp from the small cup, finishing it all and hovered it in the dishwasher on the other side of the room with his magic. He then grabbed his hot chocolate cup from the counter again in front of him and gave a sincere smile at the dark blue pegasus, before he pushed the cup closer towards at him* Since you offered me some of your drinks, would you like to have my hot cup of coconut rum chocolate? I barely even took a good sip from it and it's still mighty warm to drink. Drink for a drink as they say, Doctor Volt. *He still smiled warmly at him as he held the cup in his blue levitation aura in front of Volt*

" Volt sniffed the cup, feeling the rum's typical flavour on his nose, he then took a small sip "uh.... this.. is.. awesome!! really! @Doctor Electron Volt NightStrike was clearly enjoying Volt's drink. He smiled widely at the pony. "Well Volty, I've got to say, that's one of the best drinks I've tasted in quite a while my friend. Where did you learn to make these? Like you said, you where mostly in the dam fixing things." But this is one of the best coffee I've tasted in a while. If the Empress was here, I would have congratulated her on her exquisite taste of coffee beans.
"Ahhh thank you friend!" Volt said giggling "well, i am in the dam that's true but before my father traveled a lot looking for the best lighting storms... you know, Doctor Electron Hertz.. alwyas looking for it, for the best and most awesome lightning of the story, and trying to recreate it.. he had the chanche to travel, and i have some memories of when i was a little colt " Volt paused a little looking at his friend "ehm.. sorry if i brought up this topic.. i know you didn't know your parents.. sorry friend..." Volt's face sadneed a little thinking about the research facility, but he shockes his head to prevent bad memories to ruin this day "buck it. it is all over isn't that right buddy?" Volt said with a fleble smile looking at Nightstrike
Smiling a bit sadly NightStrike nuzzled Volt friendly. "It's all ok my friend" He said while sighing a bit. "After all I never knew my parent's like you said, so I don't really know what I've missed right? Let's just enjoy this amazing trip, and your amazing drinks." He levitated his glass some higher and spoke loudly "TO DOCTOR VOLT, ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS I'VE EVER MET, AND AN EVER SO AMAZING PONY!!!!"
"ugh..... shttt be quite!" Volt said jumping on the other side of the counter "I am nothing! Bliss is the one that has to be celebrate.... well.. not only... i think that the thing that has to be celebrated is out friendship! may it last forever and may it get over mountains and lakes, planes and oceans! " Volt shouted taking a bootle of Spumante on his bag and letting the cork to jump out and bouncning everywhere, he filled for glasses with it, and then proceded to fill other two glasses with Soda, after that he moved one glass near Nightstrike, and the other near Bliss "uh i know that you have some concerns on alchool and so.. i hope that soda will be a good sobstitute!"
*He chuckled as he watched Volty drinking down his hot chocolate, before starting to make another cup for himself again. After few minutes, he had another steaming hot cup of coconut rum chocolate before him and walked next to NightStrike and Volt near the kitchen counter with small grin on his face, before speaking out to them and sipping from his cup at the same time* So, what are you gentle ponies up to now that our ship has begun moving? I mean we're gonna have an entire week to spend here in this yacht, and it's good to have something to do to pass the time as we sail across the sea back to equestria. I was planning on trying my hoof on fishing once again tomorrow, and see if I can catch something big and tasty from the waters for me and Seth to eat, if we manage to run out of fish and other meat products before we get back home! *He took another sip from his cup, that left a little chocolate mustache on his lips, before he licked it off with his tongue and smiled sheepishly at them* Hehe... Excuse me. Anyways, It's good to have you guys with us, and I hope this trip will be a thing to remember afterwards!
*She nodded to Seth and his offer of assistance* Thank you Seth... But I'm fine... really I am! *She lied, slapping on a fake smile, then quickly after he helped load her excessive large bowl of chocolate ice cream. She stared at it for a moment, her guilt of Skylar being stuck on this ship away from his mare still kept overwhelming her.* That's not going to be enough ice cream... *Then Volt told her about his special dessert of vanilla ice cream with coffee and alchohal but was nice enough to hold up on the drink and replace it with coffee instead.* That sounds yummy! *She levitated the same spoon Seth used, still covered in melted chocolate, and scooped another heaping full of vanilla drenched coffee ice cream, at least three scoops worth into her large bowl. But she still wasn't satisfied and decided to go to another large freezer that was next to the meat locker Seth found in hopes it was the treasure trove of all ice cream.* *She fluttered over, levitated the steel freezer door open and was adron with all flavors of ice cream by the gallons full. Red velvet, coffee flavor, cookie dough, mint chocolate, apple flavor, orange flavor...Her eyes felt like they were gonna pop out from seeing so much. She levitated three more gallons of ice cream out and began excessively piling it up in her salad serving sized bowl. Once there was a mountain of ice cream piled high, she proceeded to add a tone of whip cream and chocolate sprinkles* It's missing something... *she sniffed, feeling like she needed to cry again.* AHA brownies! *She fluttered next to what looked like a wooden pantry, threw it open and once again was gratified with muffins, biscuits and brownies galore. She cut up chunks of the decitante morsals, tossed them into her mountain sunday, then pulled out a regular sized spoon and looked at the others...knowing this food was more then enough to feed a whole herd of cows* Um...heh... *she picked up the bowl, barely able to hold its weight* I'm just...gonna eat this outside, front of the ship... don't want it to melt everywhere right? *Not wanting her obvious sadness being filtered out from the loads of sweets she was about to consume, she focused her mind as hard as she could...and teleported out to the front of the ship with her bowl in hoof. Once out, she rubbed her head, not sure if she'd ever get used to teleporting, then sat down to eat her sundae...a scoop out of time, hoping a mouthful at a time would eventually shove those persistent tears back.* It will be ok... I'll get over this... and i'll find a way to make up for this annoyance with Skylar and the others...*she shoveled another mouth full, chocolate syrup dripping down her mouth and covering her poking belly, looking like a sugar drunken mare*
*He continues to hang his legs lazily over the mast, not having moved for the last twenty minutes he just watched the ponies scurry about their chores while his friends were enjoying themselves below deck. With a small sigh he rests his back against the thick wooden mast and continues to stare out over the waters churning gently as the ship slowly cut it's way through the ocean. Even from here he could sense Blisses sadness and worry, it only served to fuel his own mood causing him to snort in frustration and kick out into the air with his leg, after a couple of minutes calming down he shivered, wrapping his hooves around his body not realizing how cold he had become... he wanted to join the others below but was to embarrassed to show himself and not sure what he would say to her... so he continued to sit shiver and alone up on the mast with nothing but his sole picture for company, he pecked a kiss on it and closed his eyes* *Sniffing a little he looked down below and noticed the familiar white alicorn sat alone at the bow of the ship clutching what looked like a massive bowl of ice cream, as he watched she slurped it down with a small spoon she was gripping with a shakey hoof, getting more of it down herself than actually in her mouth. A tear rolled down his cheek, even from here he could feel her raw emotion of guilt and sorrow welling up inside her, he stood up on unsteady legs and stood there for a few minutes just watching. It killed him to see her in this state and every inch of him wanted to fly down and comfort her some how, though his stubborn pride was holding him back a little. Finally he plucked up enough courage to fly down and land behind her with a gentle pitter patter of his hooves on the wooden deck, he noticed her ears twitch though she didn't turn around. Again he felt a wave of doubt and uncertainty wash over him but he gulped it down and trotted up to sit besides her, sitting so their cutie marks pressed against each others, as they did so he felt a small warmth flow between them. For a minute or two he stared out at the churning waters beyond, the stiff breeze ruffling their manes, eventually he turned to her and brushed the mane away from her face and gently nuzzled her*Bliss I'm....I Just... *He noticed tears forming in her eyes and tried to lighten the mood*Um, do you need some help with that ice cream? Though even I may not be able to handle that monster
*She turned and looked at him, knowing what he was sensing, and probably was sensing wtih her...but even now she couldn't take him or herself seriously anymore due being covered in chocolate syrup and melted ice cream that didn't make it into her small muzzle.* Um... *tries to lick her face but realized her neck and belly were covered with stickiness...* Oh gods I'm a royal pig! *She started to laugh shyly a bit* I guess... I could use a bit of help with this beast...Heh I guess my guilt...is bigger then my stomach *she emphansized by lifting her hooves up and down the sundae to express how big it really was* *She levitated him another spoon she accidently left in the bowl then continued to eat for awhile... Staring out towards the horizon, the sun had completely set, and the moon peaked out along with the stars. Despite it was dark, the boat seemed to automatically light up the front of its nose, giving a full display of what was ahead of them. The deck came to life with party torches and other electronic lights, giving one the feeling of a romantic peaceful cruise. The wind blewed through her mane, tangling it some with salt and sweetness at the same time...but it didn't help to sweep away her sadness* Skylar...I... *she spoke hesitently..* I'm sorry...Really I am... *She tried whipping off the syrup on her face but it only seemed to smear, covering 2/3rds of her complextion*
*He smiled a little and helped her clean her face, dabbing and licking at it gently until most of the Syrup was gone, then he nuzzled her and closed his eyes, the wind still whipping through their manes* You have nothing to be sorry for Blissy, I am the one who should be saying sorry.... Here I am complaining about being away for a week or two and I don't even really have any responsibilities, I mean I'm not royalty or anything, I'm just here to help you out..... True, I miss Cally alot but.... it's something I'm going to have to learn to deal with, we are going to have to spend time apart and I'm sure as hell not going to leave you to these adventures all by yourself now can I ? *He grins a little and sniffs back some tears, resting her head on his shoulder, gently leaning into her* I could never be angry at you Bliss, you mean the world to me and I will never leave you on your own
Seth nodded to the alicorn as she left and looked at the drink. "Well Volt, if this stuff is as good as you say, then It must be worth drinking." He complimented the pegasus. He took a small swig, and eminently a gulp after. It tasted like liquid adrenalin with a hard caramel and bitter sweat taste to fallow. It was perfect for him. "... Volt." He began, glaring at the maker of the drink. "...As a high alpha of the Wolven Empire, I place you under arrest unless you make me a second one of these heavenly drinks." He joked, his expression lightening immediately. "Why didn't you tell me you knew how to make such good coffee? I would have loved a taste of this back at the bar." He said again, taking another hardy sip. The alcohol was strong, but the implants tangling his body filtered out most of the toxins. As he was about to sit down, the buzzer on the rotisserie oven went off. With an even bigger smile, he opened the door and piled his meat dish on a platter and placed it on a table. "It's been too long, my love." He moaned, leaning into his meal.
"ahaha Seth! sure!" Volt started the process again to make another coffee "you know.. you can't survive in the damwith that roasted **** that Cloudsdal provide with the name of 'coffee'.... you know.. if you are going to really work at the dam.. this will not be enough after a while ahah! Now you see why i am full of energy! this stuff is better than a lighting struck!" Volt noticed the princess leaving and waved his hoof "see you all later then! i hope to find a guitar in my room.. i have an idea.. anyway.. ewwww" Volt noticed Seth's meal "UH..if you have intention to work at the dam.. we need to fix this too.. i don't have.... meat... with me.. oh well the Everfree is so close i am sure you can go hunt for something there... anyway... will we just stay here an pack pounds of food? Come on we have a boat to rock! and a week of fun! any ideas?"
*Her stomacuh bulged with ice cream. Dropping the spoon in the bowl of melted ice cream after awhile of eating it...most of it had deteriorated...but certaintly didn't feel like that in her stomach. She leaned back, back legs sprawled out, while a hoof on her belly, moaning into the wind of the full white tummy* That was a bad idea...*she groaned, her wings seemed smaller now that her belly was bigger* I don't think I'll ever eat again! *She grinned at Skylar after he had eaten his fill, and looking just as rough as she was.* Well...I guess we were both being silly then.. *she spoke and nuzzled his cheek despite her belly achs* I guess now the next step for us is to get off this bowl...and go sit in one of those outside comfy chairs near that hot tub...actually the hot tub sounds alot nicer... *She rolled to her side, struggled to find her hooves...then pushed herself up and crawled to the warm...bubbly, light changing colors of the tub...* Ahhh....this is so nice! Almost makes me forget we ate that much or were sad! You've got to try this Skylar!
*He watches her crawl over to the tub and groans a little, every muscle ached from sitting up on the chilly mast for nearly an hour, slowly and shakily he made his way over to the tub, he shivered with pleasure as he slowly lowered himself in and felt every muscle and fibre in his body suddenly relaxed, he gave a loud groan as the rest of his body slipped in and blushes with slight embarrassment* Woops sorry... I was feeling pretty stiff... you know... sitting up on that mast for so long didn't do my body any favours *Finally he lowered himself in all the way, sinking down with a happy sigh until only his neck and head were above the surface, he sat opposite her and grinned at her with his eyes half closed in relaxation, playfully poking her hind hoof with his under the water* Say you know what would make this even better? Could you magic us up a couple of glasses of cider Bliss? *His face took a more serious expression and he leaned forward, holding her front hooves in his*Lets put the sadness behind us Blissy, I am not going to leave your side so you don't have to worry about that, but at least if I get a bit down again you know why *He said with a smile before sinking back again against the side of the tub and closing his eyes*
*As soon as Seth opened the oven, he his nostrils was immediately invaded by the heavenly smell of a delicious looking meat dish he took out of the oven and placed it on the table with his paws. He walked in closer towards the delicious looking dish in the table with a ravenous look on his face, before stopping in front of it and looking at it for a moment with water slightly drooling from the side of his mouth* That smell... That heavenly smell... *He stared at the meaty dish for a few seconds blankly, before realizing it belonged to Seth next to him and backing up slightly from the table, while smiling apologetically to him* Please excuse me, Mr. Seth! I was lost in the moment, as soon as that meaty goodness came out of the oven and filled my nose with it's heavenly scentl I haven't smelled for a long time! Last time I ate red meat, was at the gryphonese restaurant in canterlot where I had a dish of roasted reindeer, which even managed to beat the salty dried meat chunks that I used to chew back when I lived with my tribe all those years ago. How do you usually like your meat by the way, if I may ask, Seth? I usually love mine well done, but I don't mind eating it raw if the situation requires it.
I know Skylar, I understand too *she smiled to him as the day seemed to soak away in the hot tub. She had a strong mind to ask Night Lights about making one like this in their cave when she got back home.* Ah...*she sighed happily* This is the life... I admit it... I know being royal comes with great responsibilty but... I can't ignore the perks to it too... *She laid her head on the edge of the cool, smooth river stone edge of the tub and watched the steam off the water drift outward, catching with the cool windy sea. The stars gleamed like diamonds in the sky, and with each passing moment...the stresses of the day and the future were washed away.* The stars are quite...*yawns* lovely out tonight...Princess Luna has outdone herself again...*her eyes were getting heavy from the sweet smell of the sea mixed with the warm water*
"Volt," Seth began, glaring at his friend. "I advise you not to argue with a wolf when it comes to his meat." He said, half joking, but still serious. Being a carnivorous, he really hoped Volt wasn't thinking about turning him to a vegetation. Last time he was forced to eat nothing but veggies, it didn't end well... for the ones feeding him the food. Seth looked over at the drooling pony who was eyeing his meat with much interest. He slowly put an arm around him meat stack, much like Golum would do in the Lord of the Dog-Tags books. With the best puppydog eyes, he looks up at Polaris. "...my meat..." He said, eyes holding back tears. After a few second he broke the act. He got back to his normal expression and looked at the pony with a amused, but quizzical look. "You... a pony... eat meat? Wow." He said with a smile. "First time I heard that one. Well... the best meat I like is probably a kind of snow peppered up in the mountains of my homeland. Arrogant bastards." He said under his breath. He pulled out a plate and cut half his links and placed it on them. "You can cook the meat... but I prefer it nice and fresh from the body." He said. Seth slid over the second plate to the pony and picked up his own. "I was going to take a late night swim in the pool. The chilling water is great for the body. If you want to join me, I'll be out there." "You can come too, Volty." He called to the drink maker. He walked out of the main kittchen and found himself on deck. He passed by the hot tub where Bliss and Sky were enjoying themselves. He finally got to the pool and placed the plate of links by the edge. At the stairs leading into the frigid water, he uncoupled his bionic arm and placed it next to the plate. With his implant free, he wadded into the water, letting the nightly chill relax his body's stress.
