Seth was a little embarrassed by the look, but he didn't try to hide it. "When you get blown to hell, you learn to watch your back." He said, walking over to the coffee. Poring himself a glass, he sat next to Volt. "So, you can just fly up and see where the fog ends. We then can either tether you to the ship or use a flare." He suggested, taking a sip of coffee. "I must say, nice brew Bliss."
"cofffee!!" VOlt shouted jumping aroud Bliss and sniffing the pancakes "looks... deliciooouusssss" Volt turned to Seth "ya that's the idea indeed.. but.. later... i am starving and those pancakes... are trying to murder my stomach... they look at me... and they want to jump in my mouth... slurp!" Volt shocked his head "uh sorry... i am just hungry.. by the way.. that's awesome Bliss... i love coffee you know... if i had to replace my blood for something.. that would probably be coffee... i need it like air when i work.. electricty is my food, coffee is my water ahah!! " Volt said jumping on his hooves in circle around the table "come on ponies.. don't let that stupid fog ruin our day... we will just change the ship direction.. remember? the Empereness said something about going where we wish or like that.. there is always a solution for everything! now sit down and bow at this royal majesty of a breakfast!"
NightStrike nodded to Polly "Well to be entirely honest, I'm not that good with all magic, the thing I do best is basic levitation, and I don't really think that will help with this fog. You on the other hand seem to be quite experienced in the field of magic, so when even you can't dispel this fog, I don't know who can." He shook his head in an apologetic way "I fear there is not much I can do then, unless you might know something."
*He gave a stern look and a nod at the charcoal unicorn next to him, before turning his focus back into the impenetrable fog that surrounded them from all sides* I'm not that sure really, NightStrike... My magic barely made even a dent to this strange phenomenon, but I have a suspicion that something is creating this fog on purpose. To accomplish what however, I cannot say. All I can say for sure is that we keep on our guard up at all times, and be on the lookout for anything out of the ordinary while we're still inside the eye this fog.
Ok Volty it looks like you volunteered to be the first to get a stack of pancakes! *She quickly levitated a plate and flipped the four large slaps of pancakes onto it, dousing it in syrup and butter and placing a fork on top of it* Here take it you crazy blue pegasus! Before you rock the ship! *She giggled as he took the plate then went back to flipping more* I dont' think we'll be able to turn this ship around though Volt *she spoke as she continued flipping more pancakes* The Empress said it was magically set so that it would travel to our home locations. Equestria is where its heading, so I'm assuming that's where we'll continue to go despite this fog. I have confidence in this ship's ability, I guess I'm just a little bummed because this fog makes me feel gloomy. But we can try to figure out other fun activities to do! *She grinned eagerly* Maybe we can plan some board games, watch a crystal ball about the jousting going on in the Crystal Empire! *her tail swished left and right at the opprotunities.* It can be like a stay at home during a raining day sort of day!
"YAAAYY PANCAKES!" Volt litteraly dived on the dish taking an huge bite "yuhhhhhh awesomeeee!! Those are delicious indded Bliss!!!" Volt said with his mouth still full "and for some games... i bet we can find something! i have some contraptions in my room!" Volt finished his meal and darted trought the ship's corridors, and entered in his room, soon he was diving on the stuff on his desk "there!" He strapped his usual tesla coil saddle on his back and filled the bag with some stupid gadgets, then he was already on the way bacl "TOYS!" he shouted opening the kitchen door, he then placed an huge plasma ball on the top of the table turning it on "this is not a normal stupid plasma ball! aha! i dare you to touch it! ih ih watch your feathers... and fur.." he said locking at Seth "static electrcity is fun!"
NightStrike put his hooves down firmly "Then I'll take guard here with you. Speaking about guarding, we shouldn't stand too close together, then we might miss something because we distract each other, besides we would be easy to take out at once. But we also shouldn't be too far, we should still be able to call each other for help." He walked somewhat away in the mist until Polly was barely visible anymore and shouted out "You know, I've learned this spell on my training as an assassin. It should come in quite handy, are you able to see this, if even barely?" His horn glowed and a big green flare shot high into the sky slowly descending
*He watched at the brightly glowing green flare that NightStrike launched up into the sky, that was easily able to penetrate all the thick fog near their immediate area, before shouting out back to the charcoal unicorn assassin* I can see it, NightStrike! Use it again if you see anything suspicious on your end, and I'll use my dispel beam if I'll manage to spot something instead! Got that!? *After his sentence, he began walking around the ship's bow and kept looking into the endless walls of fog that impaired his vision from all sides, while maintaining high alert for anything out of the ordinary that might leap out from the fog*
*After a few more minutes of flipping pancakes and landing them on plates, she hovered the rest their breakfast then sat down to eat her own and sip her coffee while looking at Volt's barriage of gadgets and "toys" he claimed to be fun* Um..electricity for a toy? *She grinned nervously* I think I don't want to get zapped on our voyage home Volty! *She giggled and turned to Seth* Do you know any good games Sir Seth? *She grinned cheeckily at him* And I mean games that don't involve arsenal? Maybe a foal's game of hide and seek! Why not start with a game that makes us feel young?
*He carries a plate of pancakes in his mouth and plonks himself down in a chair next to blissy, gently putting the plate down on the table and nuzzling her before grabbing two pancakes and munching on them eagerly, speaking through mouthfuls of the delicious morsels* Wow... these are... amazing... I will really .... have to get Cal.... to make me some of these.... or... could even... make some myself.... *He finishes off the last bite of the pancakes and swills down some orange juice, sighing happily and leaning back in his chair* So where are the others, still on deck checking out that fog? *He spoke while eyeing up the plasma ball wearily for a few seconds, he reaches out to touch it, he shrieks a little, his mane and feathers stand on end and get pulls his hoof away* :ahh:
Seth served himself a plate of pancakes and sat with the others. At the notion of the game, he looked to Bliss with a bit of confusion and embarrassment. "Sorry if this sounds a bit... odd... but I have never hear of hide and seek..." He admitted. It wasn't like wolves didn't know the game, it was just that Seth was never taught. From a pup, he was trained a warrior. He had little time for games. Seeing the puffball that was Skylar, Seth couldn't help but take a little laugh. "Classic Volt." He said, giving the pony a soft punch to the arm.
*She bursted out laughing at Skylar's new fur and hairdo, trying to help him pat it down but it immediatly stuck back up* *Giggles* Skylar...*tries to hold back laugher* I...don't get it! *snickers louder with a snort* I thought you were the pegasus of lightning! *milk squirts out of her nose as she busts out laughing for several minutes, before finally rubbing her tears from it and addressing Seth* You really never played Hide n Seek? Well that settles! We should play the game! It's really a simple game, one pony erm or wolf, is the "it" character, and his or her job, is to find the other players, who are all hiding! The first player you find that is hiding, you tag them and they are "it". Then the game starts over again! Let's get Polaris and NightStrike down here for some breakfast and see if they'd like to play!
Lightining? LIGHTING!" Volt said crawling up on Seth's back, and sitting on his shoulders "what is the problem with them? they are so tasty! So! i say we should play this game of hide and seek! Sounds fun! and fun is good! who is gonna start? can i use this wolf as my base? " Volt inclined himself on his front poking the Wolf's nose "hello Fort Seth, how are we going? SEE?!" He watched everypony else "an armored Furry tower! and it can run to! yuu i am on a tank with fur!" Then Volt dropped backward hitting the ground "ouuch.. i guess that the coffee was a little too stronger yep yep"
*He frowned a little and his cheeks flushed a little with embarrassment as he desperately tries to push his mane back into shape. Slowly but surely he manages to get all his fur, mane and even tail back into shape before spinning on the spot and playfully growling at Blissy* I am the Pegasus of Lightning it just... just... caught me off guard thats all!!*He nips her nose and nuzzles her before speaking again* Yeah that sounds like fun, it's gonna be even better in the fog, add a bit of spookiness to it all, I hope you don't get scared to easy sis*Stands on his hind legs and raises his front legs making stupid ghost sounds while hopping around her* Ooooooooohhhh I've come to haunt you little marshmellow pony! *He grins and goes back onto all fours*Well they are know we are down here so they must still be trying to get rid of the fog*He waves his hoof dismissively and continues to much loudly on the pile of pancakes in front of him*
NighStrike continued to patrol for a while. But the longer he stayed outside here, the more his stomach started to rumble. He knew that Blissy was making some delightful banana pancakes down in the ship. He shouted out to Polly: "You know? I'm not really sure what to do! I'm honestly getting somewhat hungry, but I don't wanna leave the ship unguarded either!"
Seth pondered the games simplicity of the game. It was fairly close to the monthly hunt back to the academy. Except of being held prisoner for three days, you were just it again. "Sure, why not? Let me just finish my- Volt... you're on my head." He said with a smile. Giving a slight lowering of one shoulder was enough to topple the pony. Grabbing his friend by the paw, he pulled him up. "So, who's first it?" He asked.
"hiding in tha fog? Uhmm sounds nice! " Volt said locking back at the wolf "meany... anyway... who is gonna seek for us then? for me is the same! just hope to not hit another wall.. don't tell around please... but i skipped some flying lessons back at Cloudsdale.. well.. all of the orientation ones... meh... uhm i should built something to locate ponies and guide them.. like a Galopping Positoning System or something like this.. no more lost in the fog or on clouds! eheh..." Volt said in a smile (ooc oh god XD that was bad)
*He heard NightStrike shouting to him from the mid way of the ship's deck from behind him, but instead of turning around to face him, he kept looking thoughtfully out to the misty veil of fog laid before him and responed to the charcoal unicorn with a shout* I understand, NightStrike! You please go ahead below the deck to get something to eat with the others! I think I'll stay up here for a bit to make sure that there aren't anything out there amidst the fog! *After that he began to move away from the bow of the ship at the rear where the pool was, while keeping a constant look at the endless looming fog over the ship's railings to which he leaned on to with his one hoof, as he kept walking towards the yacht's back area*
Well I'm defiently NOT IT! *She whinned as she slurped down the last of her pancakes, grabbed a plate for Polaris, and teleported instantly out, leaving a echo like magic voice as she disappeared* I'm going to tell Polly we're playing! Good luck finding me! *She reappeared next to Polly, startling him a little but levitated him a plate of pancakes* Here you go Polly wolly! Eat up! You're gonna need it, because I've just started a game of Hide N Go Seek, and I'm NOT IT! *She clapped her hooves together excitedly like a little filly* I'm gonna go hide, soon as your done eating, you should hide too, that is if you're not IT. Don't worry about the fog, if all else nothing can be done and I'm sure we'll get through it soon! *She nuzzled his cheek, then galloped off back inside the ship, looking for a place to hide*
*He stood there wordless as he looked at the marshmellow alicorn mare suddenly ran back to below the deck, before looking down at the plate of steaming hot and delicious looking banana pancakes that Blissy gave him with a small grin appearing on his face* Well now... This is a rather pleasant surprise I must say. Thank you miss Blissy for this generous delivery that I'm about to place safely in my tummy, because I was really getting hungry already from all this brisk outdoor exercise of trotting back and forth on the deck. *He carefully proceeded to levitate a tasty looking slice of the banana pancake from the plate to his mouth using his magic and after few more bites, he had muched down the rest of it as fast as he could when he realized how hungry he actually was and chuckled happily as he looked at the now empty plate, while licking his lips clean as he placed the plate on top of a table behind him, before returning to continue his patrol duty on the deck with a full and happy stomach*
