Flutters looks up and shakes her head. She is awake now and is enjoying the stars. "If you want babe, you can go lay down. I'll be there in a bit," she says.
Eris gave her a squeeze and stayed put. She liked being out under the stars, she was just worried Flutters might be getting cold. Besides, there was no way she was leaving Flutters' side if she didn't have to... "They're beautiful, aren't they?" She whispered, looking up at the stars too.
"Yes," Flutters says. She couldn't help but wonder if their wedding day would be just like this. The stars and color scheme was to die for. "Babe, how do you wanna tell the girls and well other ponies?" She knew tomorrow would be their last night here. She wanted to plan it so everything goes good.
"Hmm? Oh, I don't know," She took Flutter's hoof and kissed it. "They're your friends more than mine..." She grinned mischievously, "Though, if it were me, I'd call them round and act normally; see if they notice the bracelet." She still liked to play tricks on ponies, she just wasn't always good at figuring out when they were appropriate...
Flutters thought for a moment. "Well I can just see what they are doing and I'm sure Rarity will notice. She notices anything." She laughs, man she knew Rarity would see it in a heartbeat. "You will join us right?"
Eris smiled and kissed her cheek. "Of course~" In truth, she was pretty indifferent to Flutters' friends; Pinkie could be fun, and she certainly had a history with Twilight, but she really only spent time with them when Fluttershy wanted her too. She could tell this was one of those times though, and she was happy to do it.
Flutters smiled. "Thanks. Are you still tired?" she asked. Geez, she didn't know what they were gonna do tomorrow. "Maybe I can convince Eris to go to Canterlot for a little bit," she thought.
Eris shrugged. "Depends. Do you have some reason I should stay up~?" She smiled, suggestively. She didn't really need sleep. She enjoyed it, but she didn't get tired like ponies seemed to. To her it was just another pleasurable activity; another way to kill time, and there were much better ways to do that...
Flutters glared at Eris. She shook her head and said, "I think I can stay up for another hour watching the stars then call it a night." She took a sip of the milk and put it down.
Eris nodded, her ears folding down a little, abashed. "Uh... yeah. Sounds nice." She tried to put it out of her mind and just cuddled Flutters, looking at the stars and trying to remember the names of the constellations.
Flutters knew what Eris wanted but its not gonna happen all the time. She wish she knew better but she can't complain because she loved it too.
Eris cuddled her happily for a while longer, and finished her milk. Thinking about the stars had calmed her down a little, and she was ready just to snuggle and go to sleep now. "I'm going to bed now I think," She said, kissing the top of Flutters' head, softly. "Are you coming? I promise I'll keep my paw to myself..."
Flutters looks at Eris. "Yes." She got up and walked towards the room. "Imma use the pony room first." Heads to the bathroom.
Eris headed upstairs and got into bed, snuggling into the sheets and plumping up some of the cushions. With a quick glance to check Flutters was still in the bathroom, she clicked her talons, and added a window in the roof above their bed, giving a great view of the stars through the branches of the trees. She added a blind too, in case they wanted privacy or darkness at any point.
Flutters comes out and climbs into bed. She looks up and says, "that wasn't there before." She kissed Eris and snuggled. "I like it."
Eris smiled and nuzzled her. "I'm glad~ Now we can watch the stars as we sleep!" She snuggled Flutters, resting her face on her long mane as it lay on the pillow. It smelled of strawberries.
Flutters closed her eyes and fell asleep. Throughout the night, she tossed and turn. She woke up in a sweat, breathing heavy. "Omg." (My hair smells like strawberries too)
Eris awoke, bleary eyed, at Flutter's heavy breathing. "Everything okay love?" She asked with concern, touching Flutters' back reassuringly. "Bad dream?" (Spooky )
"I had a weird dream. I dreamed that everyone was happy for us then when it was our wedding...they never showed up except for Pinkie. When we went to see what was going on, no pony was around. Then I heard a horrible scream, that sounded like a few ponies together. When we got to where we heard it...they were all dead." She starts crying.
Eris hugged Flutters close, stroking her mane comfortingly. "There there, it was only a dream; everypony's fine..." Fluttershy had had these kinds of dreams before; Eris blamed the horror movies she liked to watch, filling her subconscious with such ideas. If it carried on, she might have to go and see Princess Luna; she'd heard she dealt with pony's nightmares...
