Flutters didn't know what was going on. She had one the other night but never told Eris. She was scared something is wrong. She shook her head and sighed.
"Hey, come on," Eris said, leaning back to look at Flutters and wiping away a tear. "Talk to me, don't shut me out..."
Eris looked a little hurt. "Why didn't you tell me?" She shook her head. "Never mind that; tell me about them, if you can," She wanted to help, but without knowing what exactly was bothering her, there wasn't much she could do.
"Well they were pretty much the same. Except last weeks and before it wasn't our wedding. It was a birthday," Flutters said. She didn't want to keep having them and the only way to get to the bottom was to see Luna.
"Alright..." Eris said, kissing her forehead, "Tomorrow we'll go to Canterlot, okay? I'm sure Luna will be able to help, and I have to talk to Celestia about some other things... Maybe after we've seen them, we can get lunch and go to the spa; sound like a plan?"
"Awww..I was gonna see if you wanted to go there too?" Flutters says. She snuggled into Eris and closed her eyes once more. Next thing she knew Eris was waking her up. "Oh its Morning already?" She sat up and looked at the time. It was already 10am. "I'm going to take a bath real quick. Is that okay?"
"Sure; I'll teleport us to Canterlot, so it shouldn't take too long. I'll see you downstairs when you're done." Eris gave her a quick kiss, then headed downstairs to get some breakfast. She was not looking forward to meeting with the Princesses, but spending the rest of the day with Fluttershy would make it all worthwhile.
Flutters jumps in the bath and relaxes a bit. She hurried to wash herself and got out to dry off. She walks downstairs into the kitchen. "Whatcha making?"
"Oh, just scrambled eggs and toast," Eris replied, turning around with the pan in her paw. They didn't really have time for a big breakfast, and Eris liked making scrambled eggs; mixing separate ingredients together into one chaotic concoction always put her in a good mood.
"Oh sounds good," Flutters says. She sits down at the table, waiting for the food to be done. "So I'm scared to have Luna look into my nightmare. What if something is really wrong."
"I've not heard yet of a pony with nightmares Luna couldn't help with," Eris said, getting the toast out of the toaster and plating up the eggs. "From what I've heard, it's been her most sought-after service since her return." She put the plates on the table, followed by the toast, butter, coffee for Fluttershy and a cup of tea for herself. She grabbed some cutlery, then sat down next to Flutters to eat.
"Yeah..." Eris didn't really want to have to tell the princesses they were engaged and ask for their help in the same visit, but she supposed it couldn't be helped. The important thing was that Fluttershy was happy, and she was willing to do basically anything to make sure that was the case. She sipped her tea, and added a bit of pepper to her eggs.
Flutters starts eating. "Did you book a reservation for the spa?" she says with food in her mouth, "It's always busy. I mean we can do it once we get there and tell them a time." She looked at Eris. "Oh I'm sorry." She continued to eat the remaining toast and got up to put the dishes in the sink.
"I... I actually popped over and made the reservations while you were in the bath..." Eris admitted, a little sheepishly.
Flutters looked at Eris, shocked. "Did you really? Good. What time is it for?" She grabs her stuff and walks to Eris. She kissed her and said "are you ready?"
Eris grinned a little mischievously. "Oh, there'll be a spot for us whenever we're ready..." Being a draconequus did have some advantages; not many ponies tried to argue with her... "Yep. Ready as I'll ever be," She replied, taking Flutters' hoof and teleporting them to Canterlot, just outside the castle gates.
Flutters looked around. Every pony was smiling and enjoying the day. "Umm..I don't know if I can do it."
"Nor am I. Shall we run away?" Eris asked, looking at Flutters and squeezing her hoof. She was joking, but if Flutters said yes... well she wouldn't look back.
"Well..." Flutters says, "We can't. Lets go see them." She took Eris' hoof and followed her. The thought of having Luna getting to the bottom of the dreams scared her but knew it had to be done.
