Eris looked shocked. "Fluttershy... you've been having these nightmare this whole time?" Her ears folded down and she looked a little hurt. "Why didn't you tell me...?" Luna looked concerned. "Hmm, this is more serious than I first thought. Has Nightmare Moon always been in the dreams?"
Flutters looks at Eris, "I did tell you about them. Just not how many. I'm sorry." She sighed. "Its been on and off the past year but its been almost every other day for the past 3 months. I don't know why shes been in them. I assumed lately was because I'm with Eris and she couldn't be with her. "
Eris just nodded and held her hoof, sitting next to her quietly. Luna frowned. "You don't believe the Nightmare Moon in your dreams to be the real Nightmare Moon, do you? She has a strange sense of humour, but she would not be that cruel."
"I-I don't know," Flutters said. She just looked at the floor, hoping they could figure out something fast. "I can stay here tonight and you can monitor it, just to see if it happens again." She looked at Luna, waiting for a reply. "Eris and I do have plans for the day, but I can be back here by 10pm. Its up to you though. I don't want to pry you away from anything."
Luna smiled. "You do not have to return here for monitoring; now that I know you are having these nightmares, I can visit you in your sleep wherever you are. Next time I shall be more prepared; I have a better understanding of what I face now. You two go on and enjoy the rest of your day, and congratulations on your engagement, I'm sure you'll both be very happy together." Eris nodded her thanks to Luna, stood up, and offered Flutters her paw. "Shall we go, love?"
"Yes," Flutters said, "Thanks so much Luna. I owe you." She took Eris paw and they left. "So what do you think is going on? " she asked. She knew Eris didn't know but it didn't hurt to ask. They were walking to the spa when they seen the girls walking into. "Oh boy. I hope your ready to be questioned." She laughed.
Eris sighed sadly. "I don't know, Fluttershy, and it pains me more than anything to know that you are suffering and I cannot help." She spotted the other mares too. Great. This was turning into a wonderful day already... She knew she needed to snap out of it; meeting with Celestia always left her in a bad frame of mind, but she couldn't allow that to spoil Flutters' day, especially not with her nightmares and all. She forced herself to grin and chuckle. "Yeah, I'm sure they'll break out the spotlight."
"Yeah. I think so too!" Flutters said. They walked up to the door. She looked at Eris. "Well you are ready?" She started to open the door.
Eris smiled and nodded. She knew they were going to have to tell them at some point, and the sooner they did it, the sooner they could leave and she could be alone with Fluttershy.
"You know they might want to hang out and all that," Flutters said. "I know the girls are gonna want a sleep over. If it came to that, would you want to join?" They walked in and went up to the desk. "Hi! We have an appointment."
"Hmm, maybe..." Eris had been to sleepovers with Flutters and her friends before, and had always found it very difficult to not get inappropriately intimate with the lovely yellow pegasus. It had led to a few awkward moments in the past... The pony behind the counter looked at Eris in a slightly worried fashion, then nodded. "Ah, yes, certainly! Come right this way," She led them through into the main spa room, where the rest of the mane six had already gathered, some in hot tubs, others lying on treatment tables. Rainbow Dash looked almost as uncomfortable being there as Eris, but it was clear none of them had expected to see Fluttershy and Eris there.
"Hi girls!" Flutters said, "How are you guys?" She looked at each of them, some smiling others and smirks on their faces, probably because Eris was there. They all knew what happened to Eris and how she became who she is. She thought they liked Eris seeing how she is a woman and not a man anymore. She did wonder about that too sometimes.
"Yes, hello; fancy seeing you all here," Eris said, standing next to Flutters with her paw on her shoulder. (Do you wanna play the rest of the mane six, or should I? Or I guess we could split them up...)
Pinkie was hopping around then stopped to hug Flutters. "Where have you been? You missed a great party the other day!" Pinkie said and continued to hop. "Oh I was dealing with some things and was out of town for the moment. We decided to stop here for lunch and a spa date," Flutters said. She knew one of the ponies would notice the bracelet. Rarity was getting a massage by the "manly" stallion. "It's good to see you darling. What is that on your hoof?" Rarity asked. The girls looked at what Rarity was talking about. "Well I guess this is the best time to tell you. Eris and I are-" Flutters was starting to say till some pony interrupted. "Throwing a party? Sleepover? ect." Pinkie wouldn't stop with the questions. Flutters kept saying "no" between them.
Eris rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit at Pinkie's antics. "We're engaged," She said, simply. Her words had the effect she expected; the mares all stared at them, wide eyed and open mouthed. Eris chuckled some more and gave Fluttershy a little kiss and a hug. Applejack was the first to recover. "Well that's great news! Ah'm so happy fer y'all!" She said, jumping out of the hot tub she and Dash were sharing to congratulate them. Dash just stared for a second longer, then burst out laughing. "Does this mean we'll get to see Eris in a wedding dress?" She asked gleefully, wiping a tear of laughter from her eye. Twilight just lay on her massage table, mouth flapping speechlessly.
Flutters laughed. "No, I'll be in one. I don't think Eris wants to do all that." She got into the hot tub and relaxed. Pinkie was dancing and singing then says, "Oh my god! I have to plan for this!" "It's okay Pinkie. You have plenty of time. In short terms, Spring," Flutters says. "Darling, I can't wait to design your dress. I have the perfect idea for one," Rarity said, "now do you know who you are having in the wedding party?" "Well, men wise, no," Flutters says with a giggle, "and I hope you guys would be. Mare of honor is going to be Rainbow Dash. Unless you don't want to be it?"
Dash flew up out of the hot tub and squeed happily. "I'd love to! That would be soooo awesome!" Eris just got into the hot tub next to her fiancée and smiled happily. "So, d'ya know where y'all're gonna have it?" Applejack asked, lying down for her massage.
"Spring, next year. Maybe late Spring," Flutters said, "well it can always change though." Flutters sighed. The water was making her relax a lot to were she can fall asleep. Pinkie was still jumping around and singing to herself. "Dear, do you know the colors yet?" Rarity asked, "just wanna make sure I can get the best material and all." "Umm...maybe red or blue," Flutters said, "I mean we can always pick when it gets closer."
"I always thought you looked prettiest in white and green~" Eris said, kissing Flutters' cheek. "I don't... wha... Married?" Twilight murmured, still looking shocked and confused.
"Oh, Rarity meant the wedding party silly," Flutters said, "what's wrong Twilight?" "Yes, I already have her dress in mind," Rarity said while smiling.
