"Lets stay until after this pony's finished," Eris said, not really wanting to move. Although she was looking forward to going home; it had been a long day...
Flutters nodded. She was watching the act then noticed Tia and Luna. "ehh I wonder why they are here?" she thought.
Eris noticed Flutters looking at something, and followed her gaze, spotting the Princesses. She didn't want to deal with them again today, or not Celestia again. "I'm sure it's just a coincidence," She said to Flutters, "Let's not bother them."
"Huh," Flutters said, "Oh yeah it must be." She really didn't really care just curious to them being out without the guards unless they are outside.
"Shall we go?" Eris asked, kissing Flutters' cheek as the pony on stage took a bow and headed off. "When we get home, we can finish that dance if you'd like~"
Flutters popped her head up. "Really? You would dance with me still tonight?" she said. She nodded and got up.
"We can dance in the moonlight beside the river," Eris said, stroking her mane, "I would do anything to make you happy, Fluttershy~"
Eris grinned. "Owkay." Once they were outside the cafe, she clicked her talons and teleported them back to their river-side retreat.
Flutters was still smiling. The moon made her smile look even more beautiful and brighter than ever. "So we need music!" she said, "I'm ready."
Eris clicked her talons, and the gentle melody of the contrabass from the coffee shop filled the air. Eris took Flutters' hoof, and brought her close to her, putting her other arm around her waist. Eris did the best she could, leading her beloved Fluttershy around as smoothly as she could manage, and trying to stick to the rhythm of the music.
Flutters smiled. Its been a while since she actually danced. She nuzzled close to Eris and let her thoughts disappear for the time being.
Eris kissed the top of Fluttershy's head as she nuzzled her, and then rested her cheek against her mane. Normally Eris didn't like dancing, because she wasn't very good at it, and it made her feel foolish; but dancing with Fluttershy was wonderful, and it seemed to make Fluttershy happy too.
"I'm getting sleepy," Flutters said. She closed her eyes while in Eris' arms. "I can't wait to get back to ponyville to check on the animals." She smiled while keeping her eyes closed.
Eris smiled and kissed her cheek. "I'm sure they'll be fine," She said, reassuringly. She knew Angel would probably be mad at her for taking Flutters away, but she had limited sympathy for the self-obsessed rabbit. "We can go to bed if you want," She offered, still dancing slowly with Flutters, "Watch the stars through the roof again?"
"You're probably right," Flutters said, "I did ask Apple Bloom to check on them and give them food. I hope Angel didn't go crazy." She sighed. "I think watching the stars would be good right now." She looked up at Eris and smiled.
"Come on then~" Eris said, smiling and leading Flutters up to their bedroom. She laid in the bed and wrapped herself around Flutters, snuggling under the sheets. The stars were just as beautiful as they had been the night before, but now there were also a couple of planets visible; little orbs of red and purple, nestled among the twinkling stars.
Flutters looked up. "Oh its so beautiful," she said. "Too bad I don't have this in the room at home." She knew all she had to do was ask Eris to just add it in but she figured it was probably better not to have it there. She didn't want to scare the creatures away if Eris and her did anything.
Eris smiled and kissed her cheek. "It makes it more special, only having it here," She said, happily. She looked up at the stars for a little while longer, then laid her head on the pillow and watched Flutters instead; she was far prettier.
"I'm gonna miss this," Flutters said. "I would say we could come here every weekend but I know Angel would be very upset." She was staring at the stars and the distant planets that were colorful. A few minutes later, she was passed out.
