Eris thought about that; she'd like to come here every weekend too, and she always thought Angel needed to learn he couldn't always have things his way anyway, so perhaps she'd try and talk to Flutters about it later. For now though, she was happy just to cuddle her as she slept, gently nuzzling her mane.
Flutters woke up to the birds chirping and the sunlight shining in. She looked at the clock. "hmm its only 9am," she thought. She got out of bed slowly, didn't want to wake Eris up just yet. Flutters heads to the bathroom and washes up. Once she was done, she glanced at Eris who was soundly asleep. She makes her way downstairs into the kitchen. "What to make? hmmm," she thought. She starts the coffee, grabs the pancake mix that was right near the coffee and goes into the fridge to grab the other items. Within 5 minutes the house smelled like Pumpkins. Flutters set up the table when she heard Eris walking the down the stairs. "Morning babe," she said, "breakfast will be ready shortly."
Eris smiled and pulled Flutters close to her, giving her a long kiss and then letting her go. "Smells great~" She said, chuckling as she sat down at the table.
"I heard that missy," Flutters said, "you don't like pumpkin?" She brings the food over to the table. Pumpkin pancakes, scrambled white eggs that were mixed with peppers, and the syrup. She puts some on her plate and cut a piece of the pancakes. "Mmmm."
"I was being sincere!" Eris protested, grinning. "It all looks lovely, thank you~" She helped herself to lots of the eggs, but only took one of the pancakes. "So what are we doing today?"
Flutters sighed. "You really don't like pumpkin huh?" she said, "I guess I'll have to throw the rest out." She looked at the stack sitting on the counter.
Eris smiled apologetically. "Well, I'm sure there are some animals around here that would appreciate a free meal..." She didn't want to hurt Flutters' feelings, but pumpkins made her ill.
Flutters started to tear up. "I guess so. Imma go feed them then." She got up and grabbed the pancakes. She walked to the front door, opened and left.
Eris sighed, noticing the tears. What was she supposed to do? She got up and headed outside, to see if Fluttershy was alright.
Flutters heard Eris walking up behind her. "Why didn't you tell me? Were you just trying to spare my feelings? I wouldn't of been upset if you just told me. Is this what your going to do when we get married? Lie to me so my feelings won't get hurt?"
"Probably." Eris admitted, sadly, sitting on the floor. "I'm sorry Fluttershy; I'll try not to, but..." She sighed, and looked at the floor. "Lying comes naturally to me, and I can't stand the idea of upsetting you, even if trying to avoid it only makes things worse."
Flutters was hand feeding the animals. "That's not what marriage or relationships for that matter are about. I wish you would tell me things instead of hiding it."
"You mean like you did, with your nightmares?" Eris shot back, a little angrily. "It goes both ways Fluttershy. I love you more than anything, and I'm trying, but I'm not perfect, and I never will be."
Flutters stood quiet. She knew Eris was right but she didn't want her to worry so much about them and it was totally different from what this was. Eris would try to hurt a pony if she had too. That's why Flutters always tried to hide those nightmares. She got up and walked in the house. "mmm maybe a bath will ease my mind," she thought while walking into the bathroom and locking the door behind her. She looked out the window and seen Eris just sitting there. Flutters sighed and went to start the water. After a couple minutes, she was in the tub. She lowered herself low enough to were only her head was sticking out and closed her eyes.
Eris' ears folded sadly as Fluttershy went back inside. It killed her when Flutters walked off without talking to her like that, even when she knew it was her fault. She stayed sat where she was, trying to figure out what to do.
Flutters was enjoying the little bath she decided to do before she went back to Ponyville. She got out and dried off. The bedroom was a little over a few feet from the bathroom so she just opened the door and walked across. She was looking for something to wear but couldn't seem to find what she wanted. She sat on the bed and started to think. "Eris is right. I should of told her about the dreams but...she has done more lying and hiding it then I've done."
Eventually Eris got up and headed back inside. She hated when she and Flutters fell out, and wanted to make it right. She headed upstairs to their room and knocked on the door, softly. "Fluttershy? Can I come in?"
Flutters was knocked out till she heard the knock. "Hmmm?" she said. She looked at the time and realized it was noon already.
Not hearing a response, Eris knocked again, and opened the door a crack, peering in. "Fluttershy? Are you okay?"
