Ive looked at all the guides on there already tonight, and I've also browsed the forum to see what else I can find. I think I have the general jist of it, at the moment. We will see how it goes tonight, of course.
Yea, I find it weird how mine basically formed entirely without my knowledge, have no clue how. And from what I have read, it's entirely unique.
Yeah, but once done it could be a bit of a morale booster. A) knowing I can achieve anything when I put my mind to it (literally) and b) could give me a bit more confidence in myself anyway. Good luck to you, too. And me. :3
Was saying goodnight on other threads, and making a thread because I remembered that there was an image I love but since my laptop died I can't remember which YouTube video---- go to pony art, maybe you can help haha
If I may, let me give you a few tips from what I've learned so far. 1. The guides are not to be strictly followed. Period. Use them as a loose guideline, but it is more important to go about it any way you feel comfortable, whether you work on personality or visualization first, it doesn't really matter. 2. Do not count hours spent forcing/narrating/etc. Hours are utterly asinine. 3. Don't just force, there is a lot more things you can do to help your tulpa develop than just forcing, and forcing will become a chore. It is more important to interact with your tulpa, spend time with them, give them attention, do things with them, and talk to them all the time. That doesn't mean you don't have to force, but most say narration/interaction is more important. Tulpas are people, albeit people inside your head. They crave attention and interaction and want to spend time with you. 4. Above all else, don't doubt yourself or your tulpa. Have confidence in them and believe in them. If you make a mistake or feel you aren't doing it right, don't stress or despair, just keep going, keep interacting with them. They will develop as long as you have confidence that they will. Doubt hinders progress. Oh, and as an interesting sidenote, my tulpa is now named April. The name just kinda appeared in my head, so that's what I've started calling her. Won't be sure if that is right or wrong til she's vocal, or at least responsive, but she doesn't seem to mind it. I think. Well, we can always change it later anyway. Anywho, good luck you guys.
I think I'm going to make a blog of my progress. Anyways, as this is day 3 of speaking with my tulpa, Snow's voice has become clearer and more developed. We have grown a bit friendlier with each other as we speak more. I am started to slowly reveal some of my favorite things to her that she doesn't know yet. That is all.
What he said lol. And if you want to keep a record of your progress, the tulpa.info forums have a board for progress logs. Then you can get answers to any questions you may have from people who know a whole lot more about them than myself. Just sayin'
