This. If it is a troll, then the one behind this is just sad if this is all they have to do with their time. Having said that though, they've achieved something from it with media attention!
If it looks like that, then I didn't intend it. I'm simply saying it's sad someone has nothing better to do with their time yet they've still gained media attention out of it, unfortunately.
At first when I saw it on my tumblr dashboard, I was freaked out. You get people like this all the time, and it's not a joke. You get people photoshopping ponies in sexy lingerie into their bedrooms and pretending they're in a relationship with them. Yes, bronies have things like clop, which is fine as long as the people who are into it keep it in the bedroom. But this...this is crossing a line into creepiness. Actually believing they are related to the pony, it's a really weird ego boost. Like "I'm the person in the fandom who's married to Rainbow Dash!" it's odd, annoying, and in cases like this it is creepy. For this to achieve media coverage is INCREDIBLY bad, especially since the artist in question who was contacted is freaking kevinsano. kevinsano has made tons upon tons of clop pictures which pretty much cover every sexual preference there is. You want your relatives to see this is what bronies are about? You want Hasbro and the staff at DHX and Studio B to see this? This is NOT good, and FOX will as per usual put their biased twists on it. They will not show both sides. They will show you what they want you to see. Which is that bronies are freaks. Troll or not, this person has succeeded in tarnishing the fandom yet again.
The person who came up with this crazy thing is as crazy and sick in the head as Nicki Minaj on American Idol as a judge seriously she's crazy.
I think some of you guys are taking this a bit too seriously. News corporations have much more interesting/important things to talk about than a guy who may or may not be marrying a fictional character. The only major one that would consider it is Fox News, and no-one with a brain takes them seriously. And loads of people have had waifus before this and have had love pillows made with their picture on, so it's not exactly new. - - Auto Merge - - Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but gays have trouble getting married in the US (assuming that's where he's from) but this guy can marry a fictional character? I'm confused.
I remember when this first came to internet about week ago (on Reddit), I was in skype call with Croatia Bronies. No one (including myself) thought that someone could be such nutjob to think about fictional character so seriously. Then we started to look around internet, and found case where one guy in Japan actually married fictional girl from Nintendo DS game. on topic: there's point in fandom where you go to conventions to other side of world, and buy merch, and there's point that's going way too far.
Twilight is my waifu! Seriously though, this is hilarious. Pathetic and really creepy, but hilarious. Edit: After reading his "letter", I think I'm gonna go cry now.
Is that the guy who married the pillow with the face printed on it? I can't remember if they are seperate stories or the same one. There is also a woman married to the Eiffel Tower.
well, as Croatia Bronies always being random and all, we've started to look around the internet about weird marriages. What we've found: Guy marries DS character girl in Japan. Guy marries pillow with picture in South Korea (case you're talking about) Guy marries his dog in Australia Women marries a dolphin in Israel Women marries Eiffel tower in France Women marries Golden Gate Bridge in USA
I remember when I first saw this a month or two ago. At first I giggled at it, but soon I couldn't decide if I should facepalm so hard I'd break my nose, walk away slowly, or laugh.
