Twilight... W-w-wha...? (Possible spoilers are possible...)

My Predictions for season 4 as of now

1. The season will open with a 2-parter about Twilight learning to be a Alicorn/Princess
2. The writers will use her Alicorness as an excuse to visit new locals. Afterall being an ambassador to other nations is part of being royalty. Thus possibly finally letting us see the homelands/kingdoms of other races like Griffons, Zebras, Diamond Dogs, etc
3. If Spike doesn't go to live with Twilight in the Palace he'll either stay at the library or go live with Rarity
4. Since we can't have Rarity being the ONLY unicorn in the Bunch Trixie will return to take Twilights old Spot, having her being the new character to learn about "The Magic of Friendship
5. Luna & Discord will Help Twilight in the next phase of her training.
6. If season 4 will let the writers do more world building, maybe we will finally get an episode set in Manehatten, show Babs Seed & her CMC Branch.

And just for fun since so many people are freaking out i'm gonna freak out abit/ be super silly too know.

Hey since Pony has jumped the shark, shot the gun, gone over the barrel, whatever, might as well make Rainbow Dash officially a lesbian, not any worse then making Twilight an Alicorn!? RIGHT!? XD *OK glad I got that out of my system*

 

ok, tbh, I don't like the concept because of 2 reasons:
1. I think if this would be permanent, that it could ruin Twilight's character (even if she's my favorite pony, I admit she's OP as it is, and being alicorn wouldn't really help her)
2. It'll cause a rip in the fandom. Even now, there are ones that hate the concept, and ones that love it, and well, do I need to remind on Derpy Wars?

In chat with Croatian bronies, we've came up with 1.5 scenarios that may be likely and acceptable for both sides.
Since official synopsis for episode don't really match with commercials.

Spoiler: synopsis

When Twilight casts a spell that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies, the only way to reverse the spell is by writing her own magic.

ok, so story:
- Twilight tries to cast a spell for something (???) in Canterlot, and accidentally changes everypony's race, including her own, and Celestia's/Luna's/Cadence's, and she becomes Alicorn, in same time Celestia/Luna/Cadence becomes Unicorn (and maybe Rainbow Dash becomes Earth pony, Pinkie Pie Pegasus etc), and while writing her magic, Twilight has to fill out Celestia's duty, until she returns everypony back to normal (at end of episode).
- Princess Skyla (from official toys that have been poping out) is newborn princess, daughter of Cadence and Shining Armor. She should be one that takes over the throne from Celestia and Luna. However, since Shining Armor is Unicorn and Cadence Alicorn, Skyla is born as Unicorn (from Shining's side). Now to be ruller of Equestria, Skyla has to be Alicorn, and Twilight tries to give her wings with her magic, but accidentally gives wings to herself. *whole episode passes* Twilight gets back everything to normal, Skyla is Alicorn and everypony and everybrony is happy.

 

For the record I in no way foresee Twilight abandoning the Mane Six. She'll continue to be on very close terms with them; she'll just have some new responsibilities.

(The real question for me here is what will she be princess of, exactly. If you'll excuse the grammar.)

I think that likely the whole alicorn twilight thing is just part of the whole destiny switching that is said to happen in the finale. It probably wont be permanent

Well color me shocked. Doesn't Hasbro realize that G1 sucked so hard specifically because it was created with the sole intention of making toys and was a terrible show?

Now they're making Twilight a princess and an alicorn. So...they pulled Derpy because she caused controversy, yet they don't foresee the controversy this will cause?


I hate Hasbro. They are trying to take something special and wring every penny out of it because of their greed, and thus they will destroy it. [insert relevant proverb here]




Morons. Honestly I feel bad for the writers and everyone who works on the show. I especially feel bad for Lauren Faust. Their vision, their creation, that they more than anyone else have a connection to, is being twisted and corrupted by corporate ignorance and greed. And this is just the start of it, trust me.




As far as the humans go, if you read the small print in the article on the right, it does not actually say humans are confirmed for s4. It says they acquired copyrights to make dolls, which could mean they are making human versions of the Mane 6 to sell as toys, or it could just mean the baby newborn dolls like Skyla that I posted a picture of earlier.

Humans are not yet confirmed for s4.


But I'm telling you all right now, if humans ever do make their way into Equestria, then I'm out. Forcing the writers to make Twilight an alicorn just to sell toys (I hope it won't be permanent) not only screws up the whole dynamic of the show, but in my opinion is a slap in the face to both the fans and to the people who work on the show. If they throw in humans just to sell toys, that'd be the final straw for me.

 

And I think you're kinda jumping to conclusions there. That post was never confirmed as real, I personally think it was just someone trying to troll us still. Just because Hasbro used the word "doll" DOES NOT mean that S4 will have humans. It could mean alot of things and I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

 

The Show Runners themselves have stated Humans DO NOT Exsist in Equestria. That of course doesn't mean Hasbro will refrain from shoe-horning in an episode where some girls who are human equivlants of the mane-six accidentally end up in Equestria for an episode.... but yeah thats a worst case scenario kind of thing, until then, chillax people.

 

I'm very disappointed that the fans are ignoring a message of this show in their reactions to this - to not judge a book by its cover. Chill folks. Let this play itself out before you go all Pinkamena

Oh I'll wait and see how the Twilight thing plays out, it might not even be that big a deal in the end.

Yeah, it's pretty much all over at that point.

 

I was fine will alicorn Twi before it was lumped together with the "no more Derpy rumour".

I don't think that it will matter, if they show Derpy at The very same time I will not care about alicorn Twi.
(Or maybe they are pulling a twist and it is Derpy that becomes an alicorn.)

I am having trouble seeing how we don't have a cliff-hanger season finale. I don't see how they can do what the episode description says...and Twilight becoming an Alicorn in the same episode. 22 minutes can only go so far.

 

I honestly refuse to let Twilight become a permanent Alicorn. I hope they just make the season finale a two parter or something where she goes back to normal. I mean Season 4 is comfirmed, so they cant do tooooooo much ya know?
