"All I really know is that it's made of wood and it has the ability to remove cutie marks replacing them with two paralel black lines." That much she learned after her release. Starlight Glimmer never took the time to explain why she had been so frustrated with her. If only the pony knew that her cutie mark was siply a mark and not a representaion of her unique talants. What sort of talent whould someone with a fusion cannon for a cutie mark have?
"Hence the name equality I guess," he said, "That's a horrible thing for an item to do.. Whoever made the staff surely must have been mad."
"Madness comes in many forms." Her own madness was given shape by Unicron. Her stomach rumbed as if she had just fired her fusion cannon. She might soon surcome to a hunger madness.
Handsome assistant was the pony she was looking for? At some point he would see her cutie mark, but he couldn't see right now because of her dress. Hmm, handsome assistant, she absently wondered if Lotus was a time lord. Her tangent was sqashed by another round of fusion cannon stomach rumbling.
"Are you well, miss?" Frozen asked in conxern. She seemed a bit distressed, and her body kept shaking.
A few minutes later Jade, the waitress, brought Megan her food. Neither she nor Frozen made eye contact. Without a word she dropped off the noodles and left.
She had to wonder what happen between the to ponies, but she caused enough trouble already. So instead of asking what was on her mind she got right to eating.
"It's kind of you to offer, but I only came of here to see if Lotus would be interested in what I have to sell. Not to borrow her assistant." The last thing she wanted was to be seen alone with Mr.Handsome afte he rejected Jade.
"Ah, well if you change your mind i'd be happy to help," he said. Partly he kinda wished she had accepted his offer, he really wanted to do something productive to get his mind off of hurting Jade.
"I'm a one pony act. It has gotten me into trouble in the past,but I'm mostly here for just research." Because she already new the staff did not exist and it was simply the first excuse that came to her mind. [I find it funny that the reason Frozen wants to help is the same as Megan's reason for not wanting him to help.]
(same here, lol, quite intentional) "I'm quite familiar with local legends, if you do find yourself needing help feel free to ask me, alright?" Frozen took a sip of his tea and pressed the matter no further.
"It's very possible if the staff is real that it's not local." How was she going to get Frozen Heart to see her cutie mark? Yes she was covered in fur, but she hated being naked.
"You are probably right," Frozen said, "I've never heard of such a device before. You said you were an adventurer yes?"
Maybe her best bet was to let the rumor spread that she was carrying an artifact that caused imortality. When some thugs tried to attack for it hopefully her close would get damaged and Frozen would be around to see it then. Of course one problem she might have was someone might have overheard her tell Lotus that the artifact that shared hers and the waitress's name only granted imortality to those that didn't want it. Even then it didn't grant imortality to every one who touched it and didn't wish for it. There was also the fact that true love could remove the imortality, your true love kicked the bucket you die with them. Did Frozen just ask her a question? "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention did you ask me something? These noodles are quite good and centai young mare came to my mind."
"Quite alright," Frozen said patiently, "I asked if you are an adventurer? I heard you mention it when I first returned to the shop."
"Yes, I hunt down artifacts either for a commision or sometimes just for curiusity." The Jade Lotus which was predominately on her mind was something she hunted down out of curiosity. She had heard about during her stay with the Chinese amazons. It had taken nearly a year to find it.
