"Most myths have a base in reality so I feel it wrong to dub anything a mythical creature." Should she tell him she had heard of Windigos? It was as if she knew much about them. That and some of what she knew he wasn't suposed to learn till centuries later.
"You are right, in that regard," he said, "The world isn't as it seems. So where are you from, originally?"
Megan put down her chopsticks. That was the one question she did not want to be asked. Where did she come from? The other Decepticons were reformatted Autobots, but she.... She had a spark, she was of Cybertoron, but where on Cybertron? Who was she bud from? "That is a question that even I do not know the answer. And while I would be lying if I tried to say I'm not curios, the truth is I'm afraid to find out. One might say the reason I travel far and wide is to avoid the answer to that very question."
Frozen's usual amused mask melted away in sn instant, revealing the truth he kept hidden away. His expression was..sympathetic, "Im sorry," he said, "I know what it's like to run from who you are.."
"You're wrong in that regaurd. I'm not running from who I am, I running from who I was. I embrace who I am, accept it, even if there are some aspects of who I was I wish to get back." She enjoyed danger around every corner, the excitment of discovering something long lost. All she wanted back was her body. Even if it was female in shape she wanted to be a Cybertronian again. She would much rather it not be female in shape but if that was the only way.... The last thing she ever wanted, besides knowing where she came from, was for her daughter to call her mommy. Fortunatly Nightbird never really kept in touch so she was unaware of her current perdicament. Not that she didn't want her bud to keep in touch, but for now it was a good thing.
"Seems we have a lot more in common than I previously presumed," he said, taking a sip of his tea. Her auora certainly felt different; most likely she wasn't a pony in truth. She wasn't a Windigo, he had a keen sense for his own kind and they typically haunted Cadence's realm. No, this mare was something more. What, he didn't have a clue. He studied her carefully as he listened to her talk.
Megan went back to eating her nooles. She was uncomfortable with Frozen studying her, but she was quite sure he wasn't romantically interested in her. Lotus had been quiet, she wondered what the alchemist thought of where the conversation had gone.
"You speak of such strange things sometimes Frozen," Lotus said. "I am strange Sifu, you should know that by now," said Frozen, with a chuckle. He snapped out of his daze; whatever the mare was she didnt want to talk about it. He could respect that.
"Tron, My name is Megan Tron and if I'm going to be miss anythin then it is Miss Tron. And no I would not. Again My only intrest in coming to this table was to speak to your Sifu.... And as I'm saying this I am now realizing it was rather rude of me to interupt you meal together. I'm not sure what I was thinking by coming over here. I guess I was assuming I could make a transaction with Lotus now and increase the size of my meal. I don't do my best thinking on an empty stomach I'm sorry." The last pat of her statement was untrue. She thought just fine on an empty stomach. It was really that manners and social eticate of organics was never her strong suit. It did not occur toher that she was the one in the wrong till just now.
"Ah, apologies," Frozen said. He hadn't intended on coming off as rude, he was merely intruiged by the mare. It wasn't in a romantic sense, but something else. He supposed that maybe he was a little desperate to find companionship in someone who he knew wasn't going to wither and die while he remained young. "I did not consider your interruption to be rude," said Lotus, "Frozen had slipped out and I was sitting alone. An elderly mare appreciates somepony to talk to," she said.
Elderly? She haddn't even noticed. Not that all organics looked alike to her, but she was bad at judging their ages. She used to assume that the small one were chldren and the larger ones were adults. Since being an organic sbe was getting slightly better, but only slightly. "I'm not sure if the apology was needed but it is accepted."
"I should get going," Frozen said as he stood up "I have some work that I must finish. It was nice to meet you miss Tron."
"It was interesting to meet you." She finished her bowl and frown. As a Cybertrion energy rarely seemed a problem, but as an organic.... Well food was th least of her worries it was obvios she made an impression on Frozen, but was it the one she was suposed to leave. There was a reason she hated time travel.
Frozen slipped out of the noodle shop and into the afternoon air. It was damp and humid from the impending rain in the distance, and Frozen's cloak clung to him uncomfortably. All in all, it had been a fairly unpleasant day, and truthfully he just wanted to take a walk, by the sea, to clear his head. Frozen sat upon the sand and gazed out over the dark water, ocean for thousands of miles as far as the eye could see. There was a certain...comfort..in being close to the element from which he was born, it gave him sort of a feeling of homecoming. It was here that he could best think.
"Are you aware of his true nature?" Even if she hadn't been told it was fairly obvios to her, that like Cyertronians, there was more than meets the eyes as far as Frozen was concerned.
There are many who are not what they seem, why most ignore or don't notice, I've always looked past the surface." Well not always, but for the last hundred or so years since her spark was rescued from Unicron's corpse.
