Somewhat of a misleading video title. The news articles coming out now say the audio is a stuck soundbyte of the Russian ambassador to Ireland discussing the situation which was on prior to commercial, so it's not some remote message that was broadcasting. So with that known obviously you can't hack a live station and be accurate like that, unless you're the guy in the studio in charge of handling the tape-delay and wanted to have some fun. I call conspiracy!
Personally, I think it's possible someone got zealous about their support of the Ukrainian citizenry and just hung that clip there for a few minutes.
Well, I don't know how to describe this. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...d-Moscow-sends-naval-landing-ship-Crimea.html
Just an update: Russia will be given an offer by USA's Obama to withdraw it's troops and instead set up a monitoring mission which calls for sending a group of international monitors to Ukraine to ensure the rights of ethnic Russians are protected. if Russia really is in Crimea to protect Russian ethnics there, The deal should be accepted. However I really doubt Russia is there for that reason. They recently tested a big ass missile and they're really keen to bunker down in Crimea by occupying Airports, Government Buildings and various public services. Also, look at that Behemoth >
*hits self with brick* We're going to war again aren't we? Start digging your own graves troops. I have this niggling feeling this is gonna be modern world war 1.
Hoenstly, I don't know what's going on much anymore. Putin's being a moron, governments are pretty much panicking with solutions, and... well, nobody is clear on what anyone should do. The international implications of these events are looking very grim, that's for sure. - - Auto Merge - - Relevant.
Ugh...this is going to be another black eye to America's reputation, tell you that much. Obama keeps saying there will be serious, unspecified penalties if these countries keep pulling this crap...and never follows through. Doesn't really help our street cred.
People will think America has crappy street cred regardless of what they do. If they don't go out and help x country, America is being a selfish pig. If they do, America is now hated by everyone and is now Mr. World Police. Double Standards, Country style.
America believes that "No country should invade another for their own personal interests..." Oh the Irony....
Well whatever, thats a problem to solve later, right now we gotta keep Josef Stalin Version Three from taking over eastern europe again.
A good war can save the world from recession... What saved it from the 29' gaffe was WW2, and/or Korea. But if Putin tries to invade ex-soviet bloc countries... (many of them in European Union, we would have a second cold war, France has nukes, so we have nukes, Putin has nukes...)
Things like this are the reason why we should be more involved in the United Nations. The entire reason why people perceive the U.N. as a joke is due to the fact that big-name countries like the Unites States of America don't take it as seriously as they should. Let's take responsibility for how involved we've been and how much we say we care by actually showing up and contributing.
