    So, it's rather interesting this. I'm still configuring it but it seems the tagging system you suggested is installed and happy it seems.

    Sooo...Currently, I can tag peeps here in the following manner. For example...err...
    [MENTION=539]HarleyCyn[/MENTION]

    And that should now tag Harley. However, if I do this:

    magicalferretinatophat@gmail.com

    It'll present it as an email address. There's the option to request a semi-colon to show where the thing is meant to stop but lemmie get it just how it ought to be and we'll be just peachy.

    Still parses as an email so it looks to be fine to me. I think that option is for if you're trying to post emails, but it goes off and mistakes it as a member.

    Exactly. I was worried it would do that but it seems pretty happy to ignore it. Things are lookin' peachy.

    It automatically works out the ID then.
