The guilty party will always deny their guilt. Unless he can somehow prove that he wasn't the one who had done so, I don't believe him. Keep in mind, it was hidden for a reason.
His I.P. address matches that used to spread the software. As far as I'm concerned? He's guilty. But it doesn't matter, the threat has been eliminated. Just make sure all of your antivirus softwares are up to date, and make sure that you uninstall said program.
Well, my computer is about 3/4 of the way through a full scan with Microsoft Security Esstenials and nothing detected yet.
The one PC I didn't use NoScript and Firefox on this site was the only one affected. Clean now. Sorry guys, you're off my whitelist and I won't be seeing ads you show anymore. No more Java from you.
No more Java? But we have excellent coffee! In all seriousness though, thank you guys for being so calm and collected during this. ^^
Ah yes, we do need some panic. Let's see, taking into account the competency of our staff members and their respective awesomeness, this is how panicked we should be: I think they got this, nonetheless. :3
Edited Original Post. Once again, sorry for the mistake. We dun goofed... I hope it hasn't effected you guys too much.
I would also like to personally apologize for any troubles that has been caused of this. What started out as a potentially serious issue was quite harmless in the end. I thank you all for being patient and calm while we investigated the issues.
The staff made a mistake? That'll be the day... Nah, it was an understandable mess-up, no harm done as long as Skyraze doesn't get in trouble.
So I have absofruitly no idea what is going on or what went on, but apparently it's harmless and there was some big crisis that wasn't really a crisis...? I don't know. Could somepony explain what happened? All I got was something about webcam hacking. I am very in the dark...
There is no webcam hacking. It was something un-related and does not affect anyone here. The IP connection comes from his Minecraft server that was in his sig. There is nothing malicious that I can see. Again, apologies to the scare that was caused. As for the Pando software, if you play games such as LoL, you may need to reinstall it. I would advise you to double check that you install the correct version (go to the manufacturer's website) as there is a virus copy intended to trick people.
