So yeah, another awesome and popular game is being criticized with ridiculous claims for no good reason (other than a douchebag trying to be a douchebag). http://www.gamespot.com/articles/gl...-what-the-heck-is-wrong-with-us/1100-6419977/ Funny quote here: Where has this guy been living for the past 30 years?
I dunno who this guy is, and I don't much care. At least his efforts have created an entertaining thread, though.
*rolls around, giggling hysterically* Ah....It's a tragedy this man still get's work on television... At this point, do I even have to explain why this man is either lying through his teeth or a moron?
"The idea here is they are teaching you to hack and then become the ultimate voyeur in other people's lives--including their bedrooms--by hacking into their phones and everything," By show of hands, how many people reading this thread know how to hack a phone? And how much influence did Watch Dogs have on your sitting down and learning how to hack a phone instead of, oh I don't know, playing Watch Dogs?
Hacking in Watch Dogs isn't even real. Spoiler It's based on a fictional operating system that runs an entire city controlled by a company that secretly uses it to spy on people which as far as i know has never, and likely will never exist (though Micro$oft came pretty close :v). All the hacking done in this game is pure fiction.
It's Glenn Beck...nuff said. HACKING BADDDD, GUNS FOR EVERYONE GOODDDDD. The only thing Watch Dogs teaches is that in the eyes of inept people like him, hacking is all pretty GUI's and single button presses.
You can make a GUI for just about anything; buttons, images, and all. I'm not sure why'd you'd want to though. Also, knowing the bulk of programmers out there are like this, it's likely the "pretty" GUI would be nigh incomprehensible to most other people.
I'm well aware I'm in college for CS....it was a joke. I meant, TO THEM (those like Beck) it seems that it is all pretty GUI's and not how it actually is. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
