That lack of oxygen can really mess you up in the morning. I used to sleep with my head inside the pillow case and would wake up to a spinning room each morning, it was horrible. My phobia? Bats, well not bats in particular. I actually love those little guys. What I'm afraid of is their ability to transmit rabies (you're dead if wait too long to get the vaccine) without you knowing, via tiny scratches or bite marks that can go unnoticed if you're not paying attention or you wake up to find a bat in your room (who's to say it didn't land on you while you slept and bit you?). Other than that though, I doesn't afraid of anything.
Hmmm, didn't know bats could transmit rabies.. gotta be careful of them then. Additionally... I now think you're actually Batman in disguise. :Trollestia:
Okay, as far as I know I have a phobia of throwing up a phobia of dogs a phobia of anger mabye a phobia of dead bodies as well, but not death just dead bodies I definitely used to have a phobia of all insects and spiders, and they still freak me out quite a bit but not quite to the extreme they used to I also get nervous around most animals I'm pretty nervous about flying and I hate heights I don't like answering the phone and I always feel kind of awkward talking on the phone, but I don't think that's really a phobia I don't like social situations because I worry about what people think of me constantly If I think of anything else I'll update
I used to have a phobia of throwing up, then.... college. I really, really hate wasps. Bees I don't care about, or any other insect really, but wasps are just evil looking. I have a phobia of insects crawling on me, or buzzing right in front of my face. I will geek out. Prolly cuz I think it might be a wasp. I once had a wasp fly directly into my face and sting me right between the eyes.... I also have a phobia of water, in certain situations. If the water if dark, deep, in a confined space or some combo of the three, I usually don't like it. The thought of being inside a water tower freaks me out. I once saw a movie where a kid drowned while swimming in a water tower, so that's prolly why...
Any warm blooded mammal can. Bats are exceptionally dangerous as like I said, their bites and scratches can go unnoticed. It's really not something you want to see in action, ever. The infected (i.e. The ones that didn't get treatment soon enough) lose every bit of their humanity, their eyes dilate, they drool profusely and they lose all control over their body. They become extremely dangerous to every living thing around them, which is why in developing countries where the infected can't be placed into a coma until they inevitably die, they tie them to a bed until the virus eventually paralyzes them and then kills them. Infected also tend to develop a fear of water, which is why it was originally known as Hyrdrophobia. Never mess with stray or wild animals, handle bats or pets without tags and you're fine.
I have as my husband Dwynter said a fear of spider webs. I can't stand the idea of coming in contact with them. It probably stems from the time when I got one in my face when I was little. I also have a fear of clowns and people in full head to toe costumes such as mascots. I am uncomfortable not being able to see faces. and clowns are just plain creepy. I have a fear of puking. I will fight to the last to keep from doing so, even when it's not in my best interest. Not sure why.
I kind of have a phobia or strangers. Especially those that look like gangsters. In my first month in the city I was nearly beaten up by a bunch of drunk idiots during a walk to the shop. But a whole year later it has never happened again. But I am still paranoid when going for a walk on my own.
i will take the "weird" to another level, i work on building industry and i am affraid of a machine that we around here know as "frog", ok you can laugh but i dont know why im affraid of that thing XD
Why hands? Just curious. I can't exactly judge, not if you go back a few pages and look at my stupid phobia.
Touching hands... sanitary worries maybe? I don't know, I know some people don't like to shake hands is all. Or maybe that's just me; I can be rather socially paranoid IRL... And fear of the "frog"... understandable. Construction equipment is always dangerous right? Lupr's fear as well, it makes sense, what with drowning and all... You all want to hear of my silly fear, just read my previous posts... "A 15 year old running under blankets after turning off lights, because of extreme fear of the dark..." ...(me) Admittedly I have reasons for why, but no point bringing up everything. To anypony who reads this, not telling myself off or anything, just saying your fears are completely normal. ^_^
Actually, drowning doesn't play a part in it. As I said, I'm a strong swimmer, especially underwater. I am literally just scared of the size of it. I can't explain why, but I guess that's what makes it a phobia, it has no rational basis. Phobias aren't supposed to make sense, they're supposed to be irrational fears. They just tend to be inconvenient as well. For an example of my phobia, google 'big tub harbour' in images. That is literally one of the scariest thing's I've ever seen in my life.
*looks it up* Yeah, I think I'm with you on that. There's no way I'm getting in the water with a thing like that.....I just don't like that. In a related point, I went to an aquarium once in Atlanta Georgia. It's the only aquarium in the US that has whale sharks. They give you the opportunity to swim in their tank. Look it up: Atlanta Aquarium. Whale Sharks are the biggest fish in the world. The fact that you can be in that monstrous tank with those creatures is.....horrifying.
