I have a fear of the oceans, especially the deep ocean. Seriously so many things in it that can destroy you in seconds. Plus the whole scale, and depth, and just sheer magnitude of it freak me right out. Also, I've got a wicked fear of the dark. I know that it is nothing, but my imagination is extremely overactive. When I first red about slenderman, I was also terrified to be alone for some days. But it quickly passed by. When I dug into it some more I came to understand he's absolutely nothing more than a spawn of the internet, and not at all based on folklore or anything. He's just a hoax. In a way, I also thought it to be a bit of a pity. It's always exciting to semi-believe these myths.
Teleporting in front of a shark. Underwater. There would literally be no way to escape, and even if the shark didn't tear you up you'd drown anyway.

Or was that some one else? Any ways, I can see where large bodies of water can be frightening. The idea of being stuck out in the middle of the ocean, no ships, no land for miles about . . . Nothing below your feet for hundreds of feet . . . *shiver*
