Jessie walked up to Star, and smiled. "Hey. You doing anything the night of the fall thingy?" Blueblood came up behind him and picked him up by his sweater's collar. "Not with you she isn't." Jessie sighed at the bully. "Bad idea." He swung himself up, ending up sitting on Blueblood's head. He rolled off, landing on his feet, and kicked Blueblood in the back of his knees, making him collapse. "Once again. Are you doing anything that night?" (like a freakin ninja all up him here.)
Star was about as floored as Blueblood at Jessie's acrobatic display. So much so, in fact, that it took her a while to actually give Jessie and answer. "I...um...I don't have...I mean...um..." She nervously glance this way and that, half expecting her father to appear behind either Jessie or her. When he didn't she finally said, "Yes. I'd love to!" Blueblood picked himself up and brushed himself off while grumbling, "Remember what your dad said, Sp- ...Star."
Time:??? Place: Oscorp Armory labs Date:??? A scientist was walking by when a green shadowy figure in ripped clothing grabbed him by the neck and picked him up "Get me the bullet-stopping tunic and tech glider!" "But those were deemed too dangerous for public use by mr.Rich!" "I've had a change of heart.", The shadowy figure started to laugh maniacally --- Peter sat in homeroom, relieved that crime was taken care of as long as Spiderman was around
"What was captain-meathead talking about your dad? Is he against you having fun or something?" Jessie snickered as he took Star's hand and started walking to homeroom.
"What?" asked Maggie. "Oh, that too. But I got into choir, which is really cool." she said, trailing off. "Anyway, I got the role of Cosette, which is really cool, too." "So, anyway. About this Spiderman thing.."
Peter made sure no one heard that then motioned for Maggie to sit next to him. Then asked "Yeah what is it?", he asked in a low voice. "Speak lowly to keep my secret identity a secret."
"Sorry," she said quietly, "didn't mean to speak so loudly." She cleared her throat. "Do you... ever have to kill anyone?"
"Not so far.", Peter replied. "You have to remember, I've yet to meet my match, and death penalty is only given to those who go on killing sprees. But I could probably stop them before they got to that point."
"If you meet a villain that aims to kill you, and can succeed if you don't try to kill him in return, will you?" Asked Maggie, her eyebrows furrowed in doubt.
"If a villain was ABLE to kill me, he could pose a serious threat to society itself, but killing would still be a last resort. Right now, I'm more concerned about balancing my hero life with my social life than my own safety"
Star chuckled at the "Captain Meathead" comment, then she cast her glance downward and sighed. "Remember when Spider-Man saved me from Blueblood? Everyone got it all wrong. The Principal and my Dad think that Blueblood was trying to protect me...so Dad told him to look after me while I was at school. He's...he's started following me home, too..." When Jessie took her hand, she nearly pulled it away, but the warm, fuzzy feeling she got just then implored her to keep her hand right where it was. When they go to homeroom, she had even begun holding onto his hand in return.
Peter smiled warmly "I never thought I'd see the day where a beautiful girl worried about me." He kissed her lips.
She smiled and kissed him back. "OK, mine's a bit more unusual. I never thought I'd see the day when I was kissing a guy whose been bitten by a spider, and swings around the city on webs, chasing away evil doers."
"Sounds to me like you need a stray cat to follow you home to make sure Blueblood stays away. I'll be willing to lend my tiger." He smiled as they reached homeroom and was reluctant to let go of Star's hand to go to his seat.
